After owning one for 3 months my phone retired. Too bad. I am a SE fanatic but this phone disappointed me. After 2 days of use, i got restarts. In a week i get probably 3 restarts. The LCD just turned off, and its gone. So Sad. When i had it checked by a technician he said MOST of the phones problem is associated with its LCD because, the circuit is directly embedded under the keypad which is a bit hard to press that's why ur really exerting some force in the circuit which runs to the LCD and that makes the circuit be worn out. After having it fixed, i sold it. Now I miss SE fones. Hope i could buy one. I am SE fanatic, still.

All you guys in here who wondered why iv turned into abit of a Nokia dude, It isn't becuase of nick, It was because my K850 was becoming abit problematic, so in the end i decided to sell it and my friend was wanting to buy it so he was the buyer..

Now as you all know i own a N95 8GB, and iv come to realise and always have realised that both phones are good in their rights, K850 was a genius for its User-Interface and its camera is a legend, I never missed any moment of taking a picture with the K850, Also its battery life is amazing, once got 5-6 days out of it with multimedia and telephony(calls, texts) it was just amazing, Also its form factor is compact and neat, Really a pocketabale phone the K850, Also its quality its got like AWESOME Media menu and sound quality, output is really good! Its unique really is eye-catchy it has that 'wow' factor..

I miss owning the K850, it was a great phone while i had it, I'm planning to buy K800i again since i'm desperate to have the SE UI again as its the best.

SE Needs respect from people, In my opinion one of the best phone manufacturers there is.

One thing i really miss from the K850 is the WORLDWIDE coverage of 3.5G HSDPA, Even N95 8GB doesn't have that!!

Omnia HD is already released in the UK, so i will try get my hands on it and post a review;)

            Peace out my SE buddies!

..hi guYs specially for (n's) who says that k800 pics is more good than this phone...

..yah it's true!..BUT the truth is,the pictures taken on this phone become yellow and duLL because the flash bulb of the xenon flash is 'yellow' while the bulb in k800 is white..!!try to observe it!..that's why the k800 pictures is brighter than this phone.

..so i suggest is to buy the "K850 quicksilver edition" because the xenon flash bulb of that edition is white...i saw it in k850 pictures on this website GsmArena..
..or if you already have k850 w/ yellow xenon flash bulb,go to any cellphone shop & replace it w/ white one.

Dr Adedoyin, 12 May 2009Correction arjun, texting with this phone is not comfortabl... morek, maybe. but i enjoy it now. well spaced keys, good feedback. granted that for the first 20 messages there was a sharp learning curve and it hurt my fingers a bit, but i like it now.

As for the update software, holding 'c' etc, these steps are listed in the SEUS software. programmers might have come up with another way to do it but i don't know of any other way. note: even a2uploader, used for modding, requires a similar procedure. guess its for tapping into the core. anyway. thats all i know. may be more to it.

I've used this phone for a month. The problem is, it always stuck while I'm on a call. It used to happen suddenly. It is like u can't hear any voices. Its not about network problem as i already call my customer service operator and they said they got no problem with the network. Can anyone tell me how can it happen ?
