Thanks for ur help Dani,I tried everything when it says
shutdown the phone and remove ur phone battery and put it back & start it pressing C.Mine doesn't do anything it just stays blank.My phone is connected to the computer by the data cable as I'm doing this.I don't know whats wrong with it pls could u explain the process step by step!By the way what phone did u buy?

I'm proud to be se user,especially k850! It's the best 5mp cam i think,even it beats next cybershot c902...
But why the ugly bulky sammy g810 gives much better pics..my fren ask me about his g810..n i answer that my k850 still better..but this time i lie to him..
All of my fren know that i'm a fone freak n my fren believe me..but this time i lie..sammy wins this time...
Please answer me, what is d best 5mp fone from se?

i was taking pictures with my sony ericsson k850i then suddenly stucked, i swiched off and then on , i see some light on the keyboard and from the back of the phone, but the screen is black and all keys are not actif, i tried to take off the battery and the sim card.. but still the same proble.

Hey ya..i have k850..it's gr8 fone,,i've compared it with c902 and k850 (r1ca037) still gives better pics..
But 2 days ago,my classmates bought bulky symbian sammy g810..and i borrowed this sammy..i compared my k850 with g810..sadly sammy wins n i must say with big margin..huuhu..and i shocked it has optical zoom + face detector and it also works amazingly,,at least k850 xenon still better than sammy..
My question : what is the best 5mp fone from se? W902? I want to beat my fren's g810!! Grr!

then discharge at the bottomYes, i've done this before.
When i discharge it, sometimes flash works, but sometimes when i choose 'discharge flash' the lens cover just opens and then closes! With no flash!

I took it to a service center today.
They said they will install the latest software and reinstall cam driver.
But i have a question.
Don't u guys think the Xe flash itself may have a problem?
When i take picture. Sometimes it makes a click sound but no light comes out.

Kimi, 14 Mar 2009I changed it to r1ca037 to see if the problem is from firmw... moreOh ok.I guess da only solution wud b to try the links Arjun has given. Jus try master reset+firmware upgrade+cam driver.If it still dusn work, get a new k850i! :D

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970hmm... pretty much a noob myself... id say get the a2 uploader, download the original camera driver or better get newer ones by "strong" or others coz they have addressed a lot of issues. using the uploader is easy. alot of tuts online. hope these links help.

i bought k850 about three month ego. when i copy photo to picture directory; some of them were shown in camera albom that i dont like.
may any have the same problem who can solve it.

this is the most horid phone in the history of phones!! I got it a month ago and it has been in for repairs 4 times!!!
