My dad has this. Hee upgraded the phone to ICS, but after 6 months, it automatically shut down and when he tried to start it first the sony logo came then the walkman sign and after just a blank scree. When he took it to the service centre, they give him the phone after 10 days saying the mitherbiard crashed. After that it wirked 2 days on gingerbread and after when he upgraded it to ICS it gaave the same problem just after 1 hour of update. Give me a solution for this.

i was using this phone from last 8 months,its a nice phone with most of the function. only battery back up is a problem except that its a wonderful phone

zahk.., 01 Jan 2013i cant open my phone .its always restarting what is the pro... moreHad the same problem of rebooting, because of bluetooth. The solution is to delete all bluetooth paired phones.
But if, as me, you cannot go into the bluetooth settings because the phone reboots constantly, the only solution is to download Sony Update Service (use Google). You will able to reload the latest software on your phone, but all your data (like apps) will be erased (on the phone, but not on the SD card). And after that your phone will be super fast too...

When I unlock my phone, it does not respond immediately.I need to slide my finger many times to unlock it. Please help Jean or anybody there. Many thanks in advance..

Stella, 01 Jan 2013I updated my phone to .587 and its horrible. I'm very much ... morebackup everything ( read how by seeing my previous comments) do a factory data reset , if not fixed repair it by pc companion and it will be awesome! or wait for the next update or read the earlier post that i made about how to return to 2.3 safely and easily! I have wiped all data on my phone after updating and it is very very smooth , speedy and freaking awesome!

me, 31 Dec 2012i being using this phone for 7month now no problem with bac... moreif he locks the phone and unlocks it again ( only by using the lock key on the top of the phone) , the buttons will be fine again , capacitive buttons cannot run well with wet fingers!
