It is just Sony who is lazy ,xperia s and sl will get updates in may while j will get it in march!!! Sony should reAlly change all their software team or add a lot of employees and proffessionals , otherwise Sony will lose , the best android ui with worst updates , but thanks to android openess you can unlock bootloader for cyanogenmod or make a full root , I am waiting for nexus 4 to be available again in Lebanon maybe I will get it on February , but the problem is its internal memory , so I will wait and choose carefully , but I will always keep my lww till it will stop working. This is obviously the best android budget friendly capable phone ever !! ( but james also android 4.0 4 will always be supported with apps which is good also in android , while all new apps on windowsphone need wp8. Same apps with better functionality style and graphics are compatible with froyo:) )

We seriously need people to vote on the lww jellybean poll NOW! Just found out that Xperia sola, xperia U and tipo wont get jellybean - so what chance does lww or any other 2011 xperia have? I think its the end of the line for updates with devices running only 512mb ram? What do you think Jean?

AnonD-90160, 17 Dec 2012what about battery life?Regarding the battery life, on stand-by mode it could last for 3-4 days and when on regular use(texting, calling, (mostly)gaming, etc.) it could last for less than a day based on my experience.

AnonD-90160, 17 Dec 2012what about battery life?Battery life is ok! Far better on ICS! Im using gingerbread for gaming smoothness! Was shocked when my phone died after 3and a half hours on MC4 but it is a massive game that really pushes the processor! Normal use on gingerbread my phone lasts about 12 hours! On ics it lasted about 24- 36 hours!

AnonD-90160, 17 Dec 2012what about battery life?It has a awful battery life.. lasts for 4-4.5 hours or so,if you use it hardly,, can stay last for 6 hours in moderate use. No matter of concern if u have charging points avilable for u nearby everytime.

Bad Point : sony does not provide firmware updates, which will make consumers disappointed that ICS still has a lot of bugs

They j... morei agree , i tried xperia s at sony world vs my live with walkman ( using walkman on xperia s and walkman also on lww which is far lower in settings), and lww was far far louder and even its quality was a bit better! lww will be always king of sound and of specs considering budgets , only bad thing is small internal memory but nothing else!

They just dont look that good visually! - more like MC2 graphics! Ive sorted out in game play by removing unwanted apps and cache clear! Was lagging before - even the sound - but all smooth now! I should take some of my own advice! Near christmas and 1year of owning lww - seriously want bigger screen phone now! - Seen Arc S for £99! I played angrybirds in phone shop other day while someone else played it on demo tablet- as soon as they heard my phone they looked shocked that such sound could come out of such a little phone! LWW still king! :-)
