No.. I don't think that a Jelly Bean update will be available, except some custom ROM. Though ICS can be installed.. after all it's a good deal because ICS is not a bad combination as the hardware platform provided..!!

Sony sent me a mail after contacting them with the following infos: live with walkman is still in all production facilities and it is produced at a normal number of lwws and it is available is some regions more than others because of needs in regions and marketing of lww, about jellybean there is not a fixed date, remember there is many si of lww but most probably lww will get jb like all xperia 2011, the first date to realease jb for xperia 2011 phones (not lww specifically) will be at December 2012, stay tuned to blog

Lich, 01 Sep 2012Battery life is awful and games are laggy. Even temple run ... moreif you don't like it,just flash it back to gingerbread.it only takes 5 minutes.

Ics fix still not available in uk. When it becomes available if I upgrade to ics and dont like it then where can I get it downgraded again? I got this live second hand so will it still be covered by warranty? Remember im in uk and havnt got a clue where theres a service centre. I upgraded my old live to ics and keypad was ruined as predictive txt was ruined and even portrait keypad was unresponsive and not accurate. How does the fix work for gaming? I play raging thunder 2 online as tyrent and im very good so game has to be perfect like it is on gingerbread!
