Arc S won't be getting jellybean so looks like gingerbread will stay as the best option for gamers. What I mean is that arc S was flagship of 2011 xperia range so live won't get jellybean. Pity really as jellybean is basically ics with all the lags smoothed over. :-(

hi guys its an awesome mobile and amazing tech.plz dont compare with stupid samsung mobiles,after upgraded with android 4.0 battrey performance also improved

I think it's now getting better. You know, i don't know how your led isn't working, mine just fine and the phone is never restarting. I think now it's better. I can now load galleries faster, previous gb was so slow, and looks like the batterey now stay live longer. this is a proof that ics is stabler and faster. And more importantly more app compability. About the camera, i don't use it often so i don't know the difference. And about the music is all same, no difference

[deleted post]you are right right and me also i hate Samsung because they over price everything with no reason! the biggest prove is the Samsung galaxy ace ( the outdated phone with non smart features other than android 2.3 at max. with a arm v6 CPU) vs this lww which has a better price than Samsung's ace!!

After updating to ics 4.0.4 using Sony update service I've found it has pros and cons. The browser is faster and battery life has improved on my handset while in standby mode. The walkman volume is not as loud now and phone reboots while trying to play max pain. Also apart from nova 3 most games that run smoothly on gingerbread now have slight lagging problems. Also as well as no notification light for messages it doesn't notify you in the centre of the lockscreen anymore. Camera picture capturing is now faster and the ram is about the same. I'm happy with ics as I knew what I was in for before I did the update. Some of the new games don't work on live with gingerbread never mind ics. As soon as the price comes down I might get xperiap. Would get s2 but I hate Samsung.

hi i buy this phone before three weeks. its great android phone. we can compare it with iphone 4. its backup is quit good by using normal battery lasts 1 and half day if play some heavy games and continue surfing then u have to charge it after 16 hours. its cemra auto-focus,processor,preloaded apps,v very responsive touch,dual speakers with xloud is quit good.it is an experia with walkman edition.this phone is exilent compact and handy. but dont upgrade it my friend upgrade this phone after upgrading it speed of the phone is reduced. it worth in this price range

Pictures captured with 5-MP (4:3) have size range in 400-500 kb which is the pic size of 2 or 3 MP camera.
what is the reason and how high quality pic can be captured

So basically, sony just went through to upgrade GB(stable) to an unfinished ICS, which is full of bugs from left to right. Just to enumerate my bad experiences with ICS: 1. LED notification not working(need to download 3rd party app to work, which sucks). 2. LAG and slowdowns from left to right anywhere(even opening contacts and dialing phone numbers takes too long to open). 3. Phone always hangs after ICS update(which it didn't even have a single hang before in GB?) 4. Unexpected restarts(which didn't have a single restart back in GB?)... and many more which i already forgotten. Seriously, Sony you need to patch these bugs up!
