My lww has static problems when using headphones! Thought it was my original pair that was faulty but got same problem with all! How can you get rid of that static hissing noise?

I just got my new sony ericsson live with Walkman today and the experience is just amazing. meanwhile, I am trying to upgrade the software to v4.0 but it saids the fon is up to date meanwhile the current software is v2.0. what do I do? pls help me

Been using this phone for almost a year now and just found out last night that the batt of this phone is Li-Po but the stated here is it is Li-Ion. Does it depend on the country where the phone was manufactured? And also, is Li-Po batts really prone to explosion? Just asking
