But those phones are somewhat outdated for today's standards. They are still considered good for casual users, but having only 600MHz cpu with adreno 200, performance for games or cpu/gpu intensive apps will suffer. Compare with LwW having 1GHz cpu and Adreno 205 gpu. LwW also have front camera, nice eh.
BTW, Live with Walkman is not WT8i, it's WT19i (or WT19a in some other regions). Not to be confused with WT18i which is different phone having lower specs.

I agree to other comments that the LED notification was screwed up after the ICS update. Fix this Sony! ASAP!

Don't go for Samsung as I am saying with an experience of 4 mid range Samsung handsets usage. At first you'll be impressed. Then after the warranty period slowly you'll get each and every possible complaints and will be a regular visitor of Samsung service centre. Trust me.if you compare thoroughly you will come to know that at this price range there will be so many features missing for other phones compared to this. Using for past 1 month I am fully satisfied with this live with Walkman mobile. No complaints at all. Battery discharging also normal than other android phones. Every mentioned and promised features are at its best.If you trust the quality of Sony ,then don't hesitate and go for it. Am sure you'll be fully satisfied.

i read from some revie... moreEarlier handsets have restart problem but the issue had been fixed. Current handsets comes with newer firmware so if you buy LwW and the firmware is old, just ask them to update your phone to latest GB or ICS if you want.
I never heard other problems you mentioned, but they might present in defective phones, or if they were software problems, they should've been fixed.
Battery is fine. LwW is an android phone, just like any other android phones, whichever it is, you just need to learn how to use it.

gooood.galaxy have nothing in compare to lww.don't buy galaxy.buy lww .sony is working hard for its users.lww gets update to ics in other hand galaxy doesn't.

I heard lww ... moreCompared to LwW, Gal Y is not even an option (unless you want cheaper phone), so the answer is obvious.
About ICS, it's good, very good considering that Sony had been working hard to deliver ICS to our phones. It can be better though, there are some bugs hopefully they will be fixed in the next update.
