Does anybody have issue with GPS? On my LWW sportstracker and endomondo won't connect to gps ... google maps work. How to solve this issue?

Guys, I've recently purchased this beauty of a handset after extensive research and trust me, it is all worth the hype! However, since it happens to be my first smartphone, I'm finding it a little difficult to use. I have some questions, which probably have been answered, but still I request the moderators and mango people (aam janta) to please help me with my queries.
1) Please suggest some must have apps to improve the phone's stability and performance.
2) How to root the phone in order to install certain apps such as avast anti-virus.
3) A silly one, but how easy is it to hack a phone, just curious. Should I take any extra precautions?
4) When a phone gets lost and you have all your google, fb data synced into it, what should one do to avoid letting the info into the hands of wrong people? Will changing the password help?

AnonD-22794, 04 Jun 2012Guys pls help me out..My SD card got damaged...I am getin a... moreYour phone actually is keeping the application package files (APK files) in the phone memory no matter that you have moved the working applications into memory card. They are stored in phone memory in /mnt/asec/(respective app folders). *Since your SD card is damaged, I'm not sure if you can make backup of those applications, but at least you can try: install appSaver from Google Play then run the app. If it works, your APK files will be saved in your (new) SD card in appsaver directory.

super!!! unbelievable music quality.. trust me.. for a normal user this is all u want. i wouldnt recommend this for all day long internet users.. its fairly fast..looks : awesome :)

Bought this phone 5 months back.
I must say its an awesome phone.. All features compact in a small device..
Except a comparatively small screen size, this phone is a wonder in itself. Be it music quality, HD image capture, android applications, touch smoothness or looks. Sony has agian rocked.

An awesome mobile. Sound effects are never experienced before. clarity and battery backup also too good. Could be the first when compared the same range mobiles of all companies. net is also dynamite..
very worthsul of buying it..

You will have no problem connecting keyboard or mouse but to use usb memory, you need to root your phone and install storage manager. You can find tutorial somewhere in android or xperia forum.
