akhu, 08 May 2012I heard that LWW break the screen when fallsPhones break when fall, It depends on how high and hard the fall is, i guess cause no one will break their Live to test that claim,, XD i accidentally dropped mine 5ft in the carpet, nothing happens, 4ft in concrete still nothing happens, and few drops in soil and sand, but still good no screen cracks what so ever,,

I had already rooted my phone and installed a custom ROM. No need to worry. It works fine and some advantages are there. Overheating issues reduced and battery backup becomes longer. And after rooting you can easily get rid of bloatwares :))

[deleted post]Your right, ICS uses more ram than Gingerbread, im also closing some application specially when i turn my phone on, those unwanted application that automatically run in the back round at start up to save ram, but ICS uses 60% in os alone,, (no apps)

If I got live rooted and installed a custom rom off xda would I ruin my phone? I dont understand rooting properly and I cant learn about it because everyone ive met says dont do it like its some kind of sin or something! Where can I learn more about the process? And how can I stop the risk of phone overheating once ive done it? Ive only been using android since december but im a fast learner. Rooting is only thing I dont know but ive heard it can work to your advantage especially with getting rid of bloatware that gobbles up your ram!

Raghu, 06 May 2012Go Launcher is amazing :)Yup! Go launcher is good but sometimes forces close! Try launcher pro and let me know what you think! I use launcher pro and find it simple but easy to use! Only downside is you have to go through menus to uninstall apps!
