How can i put it back?... morei am thinking of buying this phone... cn u jst tell me if u experienced any prob with the phone like auto reboot, heating up of the phone etc as this is very common with the Xperia mini models, i dont wanna put so much money n then struggle with these problems, hows the overall performance????

I am in India. Yesterday I bought this phone. It is very nice. But the battery is poor. Somebody help me for the following queries.
1. How to switch over 3G to 2G.
2. How to improve the battery life.

Mine is from my network shop and has 1200 battery. It lasts about 12 hours with heavy music usage and a bit of browsing. With game play though it does well to last 5hours.

I bought this phone and it says it has 1200mAh battery but when I checked the battery its only 1160..and it drains fast..not quite good

i really love this phone even though the battery life is not that good .. just appreciate the specs compared to galaxy ace plus with a price range of 15k with this you gonna love this too.

one major problem that i saw based on the thread of comments: battery life.
here's the trick to prolong your life
1.) turn off the data transmission if u r not using the net.
2.) trash the widgets that is not important
and lastly, force close those applications that is running in the background. go to settings> applications>running services>
you can see the list of application thats eating up your battery. dont tap the app and tap "stop" instead go to "all" the list of app that is installed to the phone will be shown. look for the app that you saw that are running then force close it.
the app that i always force close:
antivirus (im using avast)
instagram
facebook. (all of them including the extensions and the messenger)
gmail
ymail
Mail
fun and downloads
friends games and application
friends music and video
games by popcap
liveware
set up guide
update center
viber
and apps that u recently used, especially games. force close it.
the diff between "stop" to "force close" is if you press stop, it will still run and temporarily free some ram. but eventually return. force close will surely end the application and will not run itself unless needed or manually started. i tried to "stop" all of them and realize that the RAM is still the same after a few hours, until i "force close" then and saw that the RAM got more free space for good.
and dont worry facebook, gmail, viber, and ymail will automatically open if there is an notification(new mail, status updates). its just that i dont need them sitting and waiting for an update, when they can start themselves if theres a new notification.
hope somehow itll help someone
