I had the same dilemma... ace or live.
But then judging by the specs:
1. LIVE is way better considering the 1GhZ processor (ace only has 800MHz)
2. it has front camera (ace only have back),
3. resolution is higher
4. browser has adobe flash support (ace only handles html)
5. the xLoud speaker is totally awesome
6. IMHO SE interface looks better and is more convenient than samsung's (SE interface offers more functionality
7. Facebook on xperia is really cool, integrates all your contacts accounts
8. lastly, Live is cheaper. it gives more value to your money. :)

Plus you can watch youtube through the YT app, and even have Adobe Flash support in its native browser unlike samsung ACE which is way more expensive.
Disadvantage is the battery life.. but of course it depends on your usage. If you use it more often then of course the faster it will run out. But for me, it lasts me for a whole day. maybe an extra batt will be handy just in case.
but over-all, i am very satisfied and pleased with the phone. runs smooth and fast. plus it has a secondary front cam so you can do video chat on skype. :)
cool features but cheaper price. love it!

The + points for LWW
1. Sound: first thing that impressed me is the sound quality. Top notch with the speakers(really loud without distortion)and also with the stereo headphones.
2. Processor: It's got a 1Ghz processor so you don't feel a lag anywhere.
3. Design: It's looks really nice and handy when compared to the Xperia Mini which is really small.
4. upgradable to droid 4.0
5. storage 320MB and 512 MB ram
6. Front camera(VGA)
The - points for LWW
1. Camera: Even though it boasts of a 5MP cam the picture quality is really worst(horrible would be a better word) but then this is a walkman phone so like all walkman series all the camera is not upto the mark.
2. Video: The video quality is also bad. It looks more like a VGA vid rather than a 720p.
Other than that I had no other disappointments.
I do really love the phone coz I'm a really big music fan.
I have no restarting Problems or heating issue.

Does a long press of volume down or up key start the next or previous track respectively while the
walkman player is running in the background in
locked screen? In non touch walkman cells i.e. W700i it works. Can any user answer me?

I am facing heating problem........mobile get heated When I connect it to my pc as a modem And also using mobile while charging is on.. I thing battery prob. Restarting prob is not happen till now after using it from 1 week. Otherwise all is well..........

dear all, please wait before you buy this device. mine keeps restarting from 'sleep', and warm battery: really annoying! i had to return it to store, and the store clerk was really clueless about the problem..sigh
i took galaxy ace since then, and i am just happy!
sorry sony ericsson, i was a big fan of walkman brands, but this device really got me pissed!

But how do you copy pics from camera to phone?

Got the phone....good experience overall... But battery I'd a minus..a any one please suggest any apps to improve it????...
Also is there an option to change the music track with a long press, without unlocking the phone????.... Please help.........
