AnonD-100166, 21 Mar 2013kAppa good for battery? is that mean low on performance? ... moreNot like low performance but compare to lupus slightly low but very good boot speed and battery...I can boot twice as fast as any other kernel available.... Custom kernel have advantage of overclock,change governor, scheduler, zram,...etc over the stock kernel according to use.

Install it with flashtool.. Then root.. Again Google as. 587 ics Rom for live with walkman.. Install it with flashtool.. Then Google as se tweak installer using that install the cwm... Then use your Rom to install..

Till now I may flash custom roms and kernels more than 1000 times...if phone gets bricked use flashtool flash official Sony Rom.. Phone will work....

if u flash cust. kernel. we'll never know whats going on later..
but if it succes. good job..
then. it more save if u flash GB first.. then root and flash to ICS..
for now.. just focus to back to GB or ICS..
my opinion..
dont brick ur phone buddy!!!

this is my fifth s.e phone but w550 walkman mega bass was superb.if sony or sonyericsson can repeat w550 music software in android wider screen this 2013-2014 i will pay before release date.great is the person that brought w550 walkman idea,my lww working smoothly but no mega bass inside walkman application

actually i cannot access my mobile also.i cannot change to debugging mode or anything.just it struck with selecting language.so i cant do anything from mobile.already i flashed with my kernal.but no use.so please help me to solve my problem

install cwm by pvyparts.
and do a fresh install..
flash rooted ics, then flash the zelly ROM.
do it very very clean..

Guys if your warranty period gets over.. Unlock your bootloader and use custom kernel... It increase lww performance by a lot. .
Don't worry about bricks.. Use flash tool to recover.. But be sure to follow the correct instructions..if u not u may end up with a dead phone... Any questions ask Me I Wii help u...I Am proud to have Sony Ericsson's last gift live with walkman...

[deleted post]1. Go to cwm..
2. Select wipe data or factory reset which ever option you have select it,,,.
3. Wipe cache partition...
4. Go to advance.. Select wipe Dalvik cache..
5.go back and select install through zip from sd card then select zip and follow the instructions in aroma and be sure to select locked bootloader,, if u have locked bootloader!!

Finally I've update to .587 but now the mobile data (on/off) is not showing on the top alert bar! the wi-fi connection looks worst too!
