Phone Version ending with R3A... seems to be having old firmware. The new firmware version will start with R9EC ... Bluetooth version remains the same. Please use Update service of SE. You can download from SE website. Update Service will determine if the phone requires a firmware update!

i have a n73music edition and a 7390 but i want 2 buy a m600 because has a bigger display than n73 and is touchscreen is verry god for mouvie if u buy a 1/2gb card ;)and is cheaper then w950

i had some nokia smart phons before but i like the touch screen of m600, if anybody has owned this phone and a nokia smart phone(like n73) can give me a comparison in terms of sped, stabilit....

i have this phone 1 month ago, n i think it`s good. but i have a question...
my firmware version is not available in CDA list for SE M600i. This my phone :
1. phone version :
CXC162037 R3A004
2 Bluetooth :
CXC162058 R3A01
3. Organizer :
CXC162071 R3A06
4. CDA :
CDA162011/2 R3A03
Is that good or not? or i must upgrade my phone?
plz tell me, i don`t know about this....

My phone software version is : CXC162037 R1A93
Is this good enough or do i need to upgrade it in order to get better performance.
If anyone knows , pls tell me , i don't know tht my softtware vrsn is latest otr not. The shop from where i bought it , i was told that it is the latest, but i don't thnk so?

Check your firmware version. To check firmware version follow the following menu sequence
More --> Status
My phone firmware version is CXC162037 R9EC001
if it is old, please update it immediately using Sony Ericsson update service.

I had this phone for 2 months. It's the worst phone I ever had. The software keeps crushing the battery runs out in less than a day. This phone is the last SE I'll ever buy.

I just got the phone yesterday, i find it just good.
To be honest, it's one of the best phones for today if it is equipped with a megapixel camera.

guys out there i think to increase the speed of the phone you must install a utility in which it disables the menu animation(the transition effect). that results to a higher free Video memory and RAM and helps increasing the processing speed of the CPU.

This phone has the best ebook reading experience. I installed Mobipocket reader. Any pdf or word or html document I want to view, the mobipocket desktop s/w has option to convert to prc format (aportis format)
I download the book into the phone using USB cable. To keep the backlight while I read my ebook, I changed Backlight setting to "On" from "Auto", enabled "Power Save" by checking the checkbox, increased "Active after" to 2 minutes
Ebook reading is a charm in this mobile. I have more than 20 books (each book has 1000s of pages, and some books have 35 thousand pages) Cant miss this phone, just for ebook reading atleast

To increase the speed of UI launch, I disabled handwriting recognition, which I never use.
To do this,
Main Menu --> Tools --> Control Panel --> Device --> Text Input --> Handwriting --> Keyboard Only

Amazing phone! I have been using it for a couple of months now and the only thing I must note is the fact that you need to update the firmware as soon as you buy it to fix some minor bugs.
Other than that, no complaints at all! Everything is there except for WiFi and camera.

Hi All,
I updated my M600i phone last night. Now when I tried switching it on, it does not switch on, instead keeps flashing. How can I get over the problem. Any suggestions ???
