Well, its quite obvious that the 2 models (m600i and w950i) are like twins with different attitudes.
The software differences shouldnt influence ur decision because u can run the same programs on both phones, u just need to find the apps u need.
Hardware wise, i preffer the qwerty keypad on m600i, great for posting on forums, like now :p. Also, u can get a sony digital camera and hot swap the memory cards and e-mail a picture after u take it, u cant do that with m600i.
Im curently usin 1 gb mem card on m600i and its enough, 2gb would be nice, but my phone would start to look like a library, so 4 gigs is unecessary for me.
As for radio, that function iis nice on the k800i because u can record a few seconds from a song and u can use an app on the phone to identify the song, not sure if the w950i has this features

Thanks Maical for the great info, this are really useful for a new bee like me. So how about W950i? If internally and software are the same except radio function, I might be considering changing to a W950i as i really like the radio and Walkman function.

The phone isnt slow from my point of view.
Uiq 3.0 is the touchscreen interface that makes software compatible, it's a standard like series 60 or series 90.

Hello Maical, thank you for the advice you give, I'll try it out later. The thing about this phone being slow, could it be because it is running Symbian V9.1 and UIQ 3.0? I know for PC, you always need a faster processor and RAM for higher windows version. Not too sure whether it apply here or not.
W950i have radio with it and everything looks about the same accept it has a different interface with Walkman V2.0 but anything else different internally and software wise? I checked from SE website, it says W950i doesn't have document editor (I think this refers to 'Quick office' software) and fix internal memory of 4Gb with no external memory support when compare to M600i.

Of course it would be nice for it to have all that, but all smartphones have cpu's in the 200-300 mhz margin, not to mention u'd need better bateries. In the end, all that would increase the price.
As for radio, it looks like se is saving it for the Walkman series.
The m600i has the most common smarphone features nowadays and a touchscreen to get ur attention : nice phone for decent price

I think SE needs to consider stop releasing their P-series and start incresing features on this good looking M-series for their ultimate phone series. I'm sick of that P990... what should i say..big, ugly, slow, unfashionable at all.

For the next M-series, SE needs to add better processor (it's very slow), radio, quadband (i don't know why SE never made 3g with qudband at the same device), HSDPA, and still no camera please

What do u thiink since it says office applications in the specifications?
Anyway, if u ask yourself this kind of questions, this phone isnt adressed to u.

I suppose that's the name of the program (im on a winter holiday and posting this using the m600i :) )
The program will tell u everything u have to do.
Note: when it's asking u to push the 'c' key on ur keyboars, use the backspace key, gl.

To find out firmware u simply tap more->status and scroll down
U can do it at home using the se software, it takes 30-60 minutes, but im not sure if it makes u lose ur warranty or not.

Hi Maical, saw your post earlier, you were saying the latest firmware is more stable, can I know which version are you refering to and how to check through my phone? Is it using *#0000#? And can I download this firmware from the SE website and flash into my phone through PC or I need to ask SE service center to do for me? Thank you in advance for your help.

                                  Hi Maical,
The questions are not at all ridiculous, but very simple. Since I am buying this phone, I need to make sure about the features it offers.

No offense, but games are required if that very important as indicated by you.
Regarding 'W' series music software, the thought comes to mind that the quality would be the same since on many websites I can find that this has Megabass, although I am not sure of it.
Thanks for the advice. I can find the apps I need.

                                  Regards,
                                  Abhijit

Abhijit, you're questions are absolutely ridicoulus.
first of all, the k750i vs m600i was settled in dozens of posts, just READ.
2nd of all, the "W" series has a different headset included and different music software, since its WALKMAN, so its supposed to be better.
3rd, if u dont have a joystick, u probly use ur stylus and tap the screen... just a wild guess, but i think games are really important in ur glorious bussiness needs
4th thing, u google for applications unless ur too lazy to do that

                                      Hi All,
I am planning to buy this mobile since this suits my needs perfectly. I dont require the camera since I think no mobile camera can replace the digital camera. However I have a few questions.
                                      1. Is the sound quality as good as W700i / K750i? I need good sound quality. However W950i may sound better, but this should be as good as W700i or K750i.
                                      2. How do you play games on this phone in the absence of joystick or arrow keys. Where can I find applications and games for this?
                                      Any answers will be helpful.
                                      Regards,
