Had this phone for a week now and it crashes once due to low memory, and that was before I figured out I need to close applications in the task manager once in awhile to release the memory. It's annoying but I'm getting use to it. Blackberry Connect works with no problem at all but it's a bit slow compare to the 7130 that I was using before. Typically opening an email can take up to a few second. This will be very annoying to those who has lots of emails as far as I can see. Battary last for 1 day with Blackberry Connect on but it's ok. The keyboard does take a bit of getting used to but I can type much faster than before now, although still not at the speed that I can with any Blackberry device. The P990i full keyboard may be better in this regard.

Overall I really lik this phone but will probably go for the P990i later when it's released (if ever....)

I bought this phone 1 week ago, although the software crashed once, it seems to be one heck of a phone. Those business people amoung us, this phone will take care of the blackberry itch and the high speed data demands. I use this phone on the Three network in Sydney and I have to say the clarity and reception is awsome!! I have been a mobile phone salesman for 4 years and this phone takes the cake and the cherry.
Before i bought it I asked my boss what she thought; she said she didn't like the size or the look. After I bought it she wanted to buy it off me..
Looks like an iPod in white runs like an iPOd with a 1-2Gig memory stick and has the multimedia genus that only comes from "It's a SONY"...
I work for Optus World, I thought this phone was so good I went and bought it from a rival network.. !!

5 thumbs up ... Sony Ericsson, Youuuu beautii..

          @mohammad
There is only one Nokia that has 4GB memory,I don't know how many nokia phones has memory more than 80Mb.
But if you want 4GB also than you wait for W950i, of course if your need is smartphone + high music feature.

SE phone casing design is great. software ok. but read on some postings that the signal reception is not good? i can't confirm that as i don't have a SE phone (almost bought this M600, but chose nokia E61 in the end:)

i won't consider motorola. the casing design is not bad, but the software GUI is REALLY UGLY. i wonder how that ugly GUI can become the 2nd largest phone vendor.

very nice body and screen, but very low memory,
I think sony ericsson must increase the memory value as nokia to be more than 80 MB

                  FE Nokia N91 4 GB
                  while
Our faverite mobile W800 is 80 MB

                            Thanks.

well, ppl never satisfied. for Nokia E61, they complain it doesn't have touchscreen / jog dial. for SE M600, they complain it doesn't have a navigation key!

only if it had a key for navigation it would be perfect, but anyhow it's a touch screen...

yo SE/M600 hardcore fans! somebody posted at Nokia E61 (my fave phone:) forum, stating he has 3776 contacts in the outlook addr book and make the phone's contact crash. and saying how a windows phone can handle that amount of contacts well long 4.5 years ago. anybody tried such number of contacts with M600 or any other SE phones? P990 maybe?

If you can add camara 2.0 and F.M Radio, I think you will be better than other brand. To me I love this Sony Ericsson phone.

                                      Thanks.

I would like to disagree about the touchscreen being bad or malfunctioning.

Though I would like to note that if you don't update the firmware it tends to crash a lot. Now that I've updated it, it still crashes but not so much as it did when I purchase it. It does it when it's playing MP3 music and receiving email and receiving SMS and getting 5 RSS feeds all at the same time. Guess I shouldn't force the phone to do it all at once.
