    To the owners:

Could someone please comment on the loudspeaker? How does it perform for music playback and hands-free calls? How is the quality? Is the loudness on par with the Sony Ericsson W series?

And one more thing, does the headset which comes in the phone's package include different sized rubber ear plugs like the W series phones?

TO all Fans: ITS THE PERFECT COMPETITOR OF NOKIA 9300. The phone works perfectly after an update. But when I had bought it, it didnt even start. So I got the software upgraded through Service Centre. Its a great phone, lot of hidden features equilant to a computer. If the non-existance of WLan and camera doesnt bother you, there's no reason not to buy it.
once you get used to keyboard u'll be as fast as lightening.

          Hi Amar,

You can find the GPRS settings in the following url.
          http://www.hutch.in/PlanetHutch/planethutch_settings_sonyericsson.asp

First delete your old settings then try it.

I think this will help you.

              Hi mobile lovers,

I have read the reviews. Most of the reviewer taking about the cameras. You can use the camera when the phone is new. You can’t get the good quality also. I have Both the Digi cam and K750I. Both are 2 MP cameras. But the photo quality is much difference between 2. You can’t compare with Digi Cam quality. Now a days most of the companies banned the camera phones. This is the one we can use the latest technology with no bar.

WLAN is not so useful for private users. Most of the Asian countries not implemented the WLAN in public places. We can rarely get WLAN connection (Airport, some Big shopping complex). Software companies not allowed accessing their WLAN directly.

We need to think all of this. Symbian OS 9.0 UIQ (3.0) is excellent version in this series.

The Audio quality is too good in this (greater than W series in SE).

Comparing to Nokia PDA series it is very low weight and good functionality series.

Really Nice Phone. I am planning to buy this one. Camera is not a problem.
There is a advice for Symbian users. Don't say Phone is hanging. All symbian phone will hang if the memory exceeds the limit. Even Mobile OS also hang for the same reason. You have lot of advantages in Symbian OS 9.0.

                    Thanks

just got this phone from vodafone business. i found the phone too tacky. quite disappointed also because its extremely slow. i had SE P910i and then migrated to Blackberry. So disappointed that I promptly returned and went back to my blackberry. nothing beats that. suggest go for 8707V instead its slightly bigger but much better. Shame on sony for giving such tacky product when people have been awaiting P990i

I have had this phone for just over a week now and I am very happy with it. The lack of camera isn't a problem for what the phone is intended for. The keyboard is very easy to get used to and the transcriber (writing directly onto the screen) is very intuitive. Personally I find the keyboard quicker to use. I would have liked WiFi on it but I don't think that this makes it any less of a PDA phone.

I have had no problems of freezing as some previous SEs have had and the software is very reliable. I have the UK Vodafone version, which has Vodafone's 'live' software on it. I don't like this because I think it is actually worse than the symbian/SE original, though this is not a reason not to buy Vodafone.

Overall I think the phone is very fit for business purposes - the browser is very good, quick in 3G areas and has options for all tastes (landscape/portrait, full screen/toolbars etc.); the Office Applications are fantastic to use and even the games are good to ease long journeys or boring meetings!

I just bought the M600i I am preety happy with it. One will get used to the keyboard in a couple of days. I was told it was with the udpated software. Few things i found.
                            1) Phone does not hang
                            2) I can edit number before calling

I am using Hutch advance GPRS in Mumbai. I can check my POP3 mails but facing problems in using the browser for surfing web sites. When i type a URl it says invalid address. Something with the settings for sure. I was told to visit a HUtch shop but due to time issues i can not do tht. Any idea/help

                            Cheers

It is really not good phone as I was expected ,first it doesn't came with Arabic version keypad or options + doesn't have the WIFI ,so I can consider it as 50% PDA phone .

im thinking of getting this phone, but first..
-is it possible to have messaging programs(aim, icq, yahoo, etc.) on this phone? i tested this phone out at the store and there wasnt any of the programs on it..
-how is the internet on the phone? is it fast or slow? what about the features? does it take a while for programs to load?
-is it possible to upload pictures and music on the phone?

Wow! I have so much been looking for a phone WITHOUT a camera! i think this one is looking great! I have a Nokia 3650 and the keyboard is round. I also like a different phone that not everyone else has. :-)

e61 is a GREAT phone as well. The keypad is great...organizer is great...ringtones, videoetc...ok...BUT IT'S TOO BIG AND SO UGLY COMPARED TO THE M600! Its the first time I have a phone that I actually dont get sick of after a week :) M600 is my choice. Program is simple, design is wonderful and features are stylish. I sold my e61 and kept m600. for me there is absolutely no comparison. Hope that helps you out!

This phone can compete wid tha n93 if SE would add a 3.12m camera gave it 3g improved resolution and made it smaller. All SE fans halla

I have seen this phone, the weird thing is that it´s a lot better looking in the picture presented here than actually live, the thing I didn´t like was the buttons, they somehow made it look bad.

It is also a shame that it´s not even close as powerful as the E61, the UIQ is handy though.
