I also think it is a great phone. but in hong kong we have different carriers for ISD calls offering different rates. each of these carriers has a different code. so for ISD carrier A, for example, the code would be 0080, and ISD carrier B would be 009 and so before dialing a international number i hav e to put 0080. The ISD carriers give much better rates (around 70% cheaper). I also found out that in the phonebook there is no field title by fax number. is it true? or it can be added by modifying the software? Edit before call has been in all sony phones except this one. I dont know why the designer left this function. sometimes it is really difficult to understand what goes in their brains that they dont understand the customers requirement. I think because of this the phone is no officialy launched in hong kong.

@ Yanik
Can you give us your comparison between E61 en M600? (because you have both of them,so your comparison surely can be trust).
About the functionality (phone,sms and ringtone), the ability of the smartphone (organizer,files etc),video and music ability and also don't forget how is the battery life.
Thanks before.

Seriously...do you make international calls all day ?? I just got that phone, its so nice looking!! in white...GREAT! I personnally think it is way cooler than any other brands...I had nokia e61...looked like a brick

@ Jacky. I have been SE users for sometime and I had the same problem before. U cannot edit saved numbers in your contact/address list before calling. However, in order to address this problem on dialing international access code, I suggest you save the telephone number using "+" sign instead of the international access code. This is standard code accepted by all telecom carrier providers. I tried this in Asia and in Europe...and it works.

I want to buy this phone, but found one feature missing, which so far has been in all sony phones. After a number is saved, I cannot edit it before calling. This is very troublesome as for making international calls i have to add the ISD carrier code. And if i save the number with the ISD carrier code, then I cannot send SMS, as for SMS ISD carrier code should not be added. does anyone know how to edit the number before calling or this function does not exist on this phone? please help! tks

This phone is very costly. I think this should be in the price range of about Indian Rs. 12000- to 14000-. Sony world shops are selling it at Indisn Rs. 20900- I would prpose an Nokia N70 or N80

I have a Nokia E61 and I just looked at M600i. A very bad phone compared with E61:
- ugly design, very cheap and plastic look&feel;
- very inconvenient keyboard;
- display colors are much worse compared to E61;
- no Wifi;
The touch screen seems the only advantage.

This phone is for people who do not need a camera function. To all those who have been harping about lack of camera function, go and get the P990i. Kudos to SE for this phone without camera.

I heared that the regional office in Dubai suspended this model because it doesn't support Arabic
Shame on you SE ! All NOKIA symbian oprated models support Arabic
