i always thought that 3g phone comes with a secondary video camera which is located in front of the phone. I don't see any video camera to this phone. It's unfair if i could see the person at the other end, and it won't be able to see me.

To all M600 users, this paragraph is from a review of the device "Key and screen locks are also very essential in this device, as you can randomly press some buttons, while carrying the handset in your pocket (this function is realized on the software level with no separate key performing it is located on the body"
But I can see a key symbol on the star button!! I just want to know if the screen can be locked using that button.
          Thanx

sandeep ilive in delhi and i also have a hutch connection. but i successfully configured my m600 internet settings.
            accont name-- portalnmms
            address-- portalnmms
            then open more
            and select proxy
            addres-- 10.10.1.100
            port-- 9401
save and set these setting as preffered internet group.in internet connections window select more make sure that timeout is 5 minutes and preffered is set to automatic.save and restart ur fone. if this does not work then call hutch care for manual internet settings and tell them that ur fone is p910 as they might not be aware of m600. i hope this helps u. best of luck.

Yep 3G is for Data... High speed data ;) and you can use that for plenty of things other then Video calling. Use it as a broadband modem (ofcourse keeping a track on your data allowance) or use the active sync (DataViz Roadsync) for getting push emails and calendar on there.. Its brilliant. What I dint like in this phone was the missing WIFi and the lack of hard call/disconnect buttons.. dont like using the touch screen all the time but its OK. Brilliant design but for larger thumbed people the Blackberry 7100 type QWERTY KBd was a bit better. We also had some security policy implimented on the phone by the exchange server that we cannot get rid of. (Phone locks itself with a seperate pin after a screen saver)

If your concerned about not having radio on your phone, don't worry. All you have to do is go to Sony.com and find the downloads/applications for the m600. It cost about 30.00 for radio.

tkb2 with m600 u can make a video call but the thing is u will be able to see the caller video but u would not be able to send ur own video. at best u can show the caller ur photo or any other picture. and certaining 3g is a technology for faster data transfers and video calling is just its byproduct.

Kinda sad that people associate 3G with video. Video is just a byproduct of 3G folks...3G is first and foremost a data medium.

Also the M600 is a competitor to BlackBerry. Which btw doesn't have a camera nor wifi either. Oh and it doesn't have touchscreen also.

Where I live, there are hardly any FREE wifi hotspots. However, 3G data is cheaper than GPRS. This phone satisfies my surfing needs fine.

                          as i've posted several opinions.
one of them was concerning of a problem with w950i which has the same problem with this phone.
it is stated above that it is a 3G phone.
                          but how?
how can it be 3G when there's no camera?
isn't 3G an ability to video call?or messaging?
so if there's no camera, how do you even go video calling with 3G?
                          help needed and much appreciated.

Should a phone meant for corporate user not include a camera, atleast 1.3Mp?

Is SE going to release another version of M60* that has camera?
