Sammie, 13 Jan 2012Hi fellow p1i users,saw your post on how you watch live vid... moreGo and check your FW, last FW released was R9K009 it should work fine. If not check your WIFI modem/router if you're using it with WLAN.
You may also opt to install the latest CORE PLAYER, it plays FLV types which is the format youtube uses.

i have this phone for 2.5 years now n i'd push it to the limits, n i reset it once (due to my willingnes to try) n its still work even great , i was use it for modem on my linux laptop when i typ this coment, no phone tht can replace this one yet for me, great one from sonyericsson

i have a p1i, i am satisfied but have back switch problem, which is very costly if supply by low cost we will be helpped

redX, 17 Dec 2011Hi Mior6060, there is one P1 available in almost brand new ... moreits a very good phone . i'm using it for 4 years now. you can install opera miny and opera mobile(older versions) and uc browser and Bolt browser in it and access facebook and twitter. you can also install ebuddy or nimbuzz and chat with your friends in windows live,aim,yahoo,googletalk,facebook chat etc.
a very good and sturdy phone. very solid

I dont see any reason ... moreDear mior6060, I like P1i, every time we change it with a new one (i have a Kasko insurance from my mobile network operator) when we want a new look. For move my customizations (phone number, mail account, songs , sms etc) we use backup with PCsuite and use SEUS to have the last firmware. Otherwise I can't restore my last backup from my old phone. But the SE have stop to support P1I and I can't restore my last configuration. Have you any suggest? Thank you and sorry for my poor english language.

However, if you feel like playing around wth P1i, pls go ahead n you will love it.I use opera mini 10 for fb/twitter. i hv installed walkman v 3.0 for my player and the sound is fantastic.also installed modded contact,messaging and calender icons, i change my status bar to window statusbar. installed tweak software to speed up the system,use iphone icons for main menu ( can also change all, but a bit risky)...

I hv modded my P1i to a wholesome experience and I dont feel outdated in the current flood of new mobile phones with latest OS. love my se P1i

About the inability of up-grating the soft of your P1i...
Not that i have already succeeded in that..but im on my way to.
Go to the website..X-drivers.com ....you will find there a software wich can be downloaded and used for that purpose!

SE has no longer support P1i.
You can not update software or reflash it via SEUS.
