hi there! i am also from Philippines.
can i watch videos from youtube using my p1i via my WiFi connection? how about using my network connection (Smart or Globe)? and how can i do it? i have tried using both connections but they both failed. the media viewer just opens and displays an error message.
i hope somebody could help me.

hi everyone!
i am from philippines and i own a p1i for about 2months now. i have tried the video streaming from the smart wap site link but to my surprise it didnt work. there was an error message saying that there was an error in opening the file... how could i fix this. i am certain that i have the correct configurations because i am able to send and receive mms, also, i am able to use it to surf the net. please help me on how to do video streaming via smart 3g. thnx!

Hey Guys
This is an excellent. i have it for a year now... No problems with hanging and all... But the only disadvantage I see with this phone is that the touch screen doesn't get disabled when there is an active call which is so frustrating when u end up dialing another number while on call if ur face touches the screen if this doesn't bother u then it's a great phone!

But try to install MagicMessageManager to hide/lock your text messages, even the ones that are yet to be received, thats the one i am using.

My sisters are always snooping around the messages in my celphone especially when i am asleep.
Can the monitor of this phone be locked in which a pin or password would need to be entered(same as the ctrl+alt+del function in a computer)- so i won't need to turn my phone off everytime i go to sleep or leave it inside the house unattended?

how could i open the gpr... moreHi Alden, you should call globe customer service and they will send you an instruction thru text message. Just follow that and gprs and mms should be activated within 24 hours.
Or you may drop by the nearest globe center :)

Hey Guys,
I recently purchased my sony ericsson P1i phone and I love its sophisticated look and the many features it has. However I have been experiencing some errors. I cannot access my contact list. When I try to access my contact list I receive an error message "Information Overflow" and sometimes when I am in my text message box I get an error message "Information Corrupt" when I try to send or read messages.
The phone memory is not even 35%. Please assist.
