my p1i doesnt indicate where it is made from.....even in the box,...compared to my previous SE phone, my p990i is made in france, but this fone dont have info. about that,, is this normal?

Software updated is Generic 2, which is same on P990i confirming its Chinese version. Its screen very sensetive but icons dont change from default. Its more touch than keypad esp when dialling u must touch call. The Split in SE is emminent and sony might seprate as is sets reflect

i hv some problem with my WiFi.. WLAN can be connected, but the web stated "cannot locate server" something like that. How to overcome that??
but the phone is good tho.. luv it..

suddnly it turs off and i can't turn it on again
i want to know the problem is software problem or hardware
please tell me what can i do
before two days i received some messages like 'u have a problem with ur phone'
and the camera doesn't do well

P1 originally came from Asia, usually China/Hong Kong. P1i is the "international" version of the phone which is sold outside of Asia, such as Europe.
It really depends on the phone company or source that your buy the SE P1i since they are depending on their supplier(s) to provide them with the phone and may have no control which phones, manufactured from anyplace, come from.
Not ALL phones from China stink!
Where do you think MOST of the phones currently are manufactured (as well as other electricial devices)?!

You can charge the phone on or off, like other phones.
When the phone is off, the display will state either "charging" or "charged" when full.
When phone is on, the battery life indicator will dislay whether it's charging or not.
