i have both p1i and w960 phone,which when compared are almost similar in sounds..only difference is software, and since i have modded my p1i and put in the walkman v3 of the w960 series..well there similar..like i said nly some soft and physical appearance are different..in my opinion i like the looks of the p1 more than the w960 coz black is like the trend of all cp which makes it like a common phone..and oh i like the rocker keypad which is unique and much faster to text and the sd card expansion..

This phone's battery drains fast as far as the music quality is concerned if you have an ipod we'll thats fine, we need not to deviate from the topic, remember we are discussing p1i features here, its not really that good in its music output, not as good as the walkman phones, professional opinions count first does not prove any point, you wouldnt help but notice some of it's issues, even a non professional can spot the not for sure. peace...

well, I dont care about the music quality coz I have my Ipod,,, well, an experience from the stunning p910, would probably decide that p1 is really a relief... from the....
1. looks
2. quality/built
3. touch screen-best for pda's
4. camera-dont care of its slow as long as the quality is good, im an accounting student, so as a "professional" opinion quality first,,,,,
5. the freebies- LOL
6. the stunning keyboard-just love it, not boring..
over-all, I just like it....

i bought this phone month ago
it comes with bluetooth gps and wayfinder navigator license for 1 year ;]
with full charged battery i talk about 9hours :)

this smartphone can almost do it all but not not do it all good, the camera is slow, and the User Interface is a bit off., An example of which is if you recieve a message, you reply and struggle with the very tiny on screen keys, if you tick the keys with the stylus too fast you would miss out some letters, thus slowing down navigation. This phone's music capability is ok but its not a walkman phone so don't expect much from it delivering very good sound quality as good as the walkman phones, even if you are using a high quality headset. I decided to sell my P1i after 2 months of use and switched to the w910i. I would prefer high quality sound and a faster interface and slimmer phone structure and willing to trade the stylus and 3.2mp camera thing. This comment is as honest that it can get folks! wheigh your options!. - Chris : from the philippines

I just got my brand new p1i. Its one of the most gorgeous handsets i've ever seen. "If looks could kill" is definately the right quote to define its elegance. Holding the phone in ur hand is itself very pleasing. The display is crisp, and the touch screen very responsive. The sound quality is pretty loud and clear. I've used its gprs and i was very much pleased with its excellent browser. Previously i had k790i and to tell u the truth this little devil takes almost as good pictures like its cyber-shot cousin. An excellent smartphone with lot of power under its hood. There is so much to explore in this phone, i would love to hear suggestions and tips from proud p1i owners. Plz let me know what all i can do with this phone in terms of softwares or firmware or any other suggestion i might find helpful.
This phone simply rocks. If ur concerned about its keyboard its the most easiest i have ever used. You'lbe amazed how quickly one gets used to it. I typed my opinion from my phone. That to hardly 3 hours after purchasing the phone.
If u r style conscious and at thbe same time mix business with pleasure then buy this phone and you'l regfet it.

i envy my dad for having this. i still use the SE P910i and it's pretty outdated. my dad have this and it's good... it's the best! the super clear cam plus the wifi plus the 3g network, who wouldn't envy that?

this is 1 of the best phones ever to be made by sonyerricson, its amazing to get a shocking reply from sales person when i made enquiries about cash price and immediate purchase of a P1i. i respect the brand so much right nuw that i had to place an order after viewing its demo in that shop. i luv it.......... its simply the best............
