really love this phones. nice n sexy babe.. I uses dis phone 1 month nothing problem n still good.. no hang n restart..

to ABC..i think ur fon did hang and restarted because too much applications was used..if u use one application,u have to minimize it or press the upper right menu bar and click the TASK MANAGER menu..yes,p1i is a smartphone,but u should not abuse in using it because it's just a small but multitasking gadget..i also own this phone and it really restarts when i use it carelessly and inappropriate..but its a good phone.

I bought it a week ago. It hangs, it restart itself, saying "Phone has restarted to improve performance" and if you have SIM card PIN code it remains off. Really horrifying!

just wanna ask if the camera of p1i really takes 6 seconds before it captures a picture. the used memory of my phone is only 220mb but it seems that the camera is really slow for me. one more thing... if i get connected to wlan how can i visit the yahoo or some internet pages? hope someone will respond.

I have been successfully using IM+ on my P1i. There has been absolutely no problems, works quite well. I guess there are versions for other mobile phone platforms, but there's surely one for the UIQ - that'll be the one you need to download. You can also try it for free (I guess, for about a week) before you finally buy it.

Yes, gsmarena surely rocks.
I'm very sorry to hear that some people find this phone "ugly". I find the ergonomics quite good and the specifications are definitely in line with the current market needs. I do agree it is missing on some features like HSDPA/EDGE, but I doubt many of us would have been able to use this. It's got 3G, so you do have faster data speed (where available). One thing I do miss on this phone is a xenon flash (like K800i) and a trackball for navigation (like Blackberry Pearl).
MELINDA, there are antivirus softwares available for this phone, but i personally dont think it's all that necessary, simply because symbian/UIQ devices are not the usual targets for virus.
guys, thanks for letting us know that an 8gb card works fine on this. i'm sure many would have wanted to know this.
SE MANIAC, for yahoo and msn messenger, i use IM+. it supports some other messengers too like AOL, googletalk and ICQ. find it quite ok. available from www.handango.com.
BISDAK81, the P1i does have on-screen qwerty keyboard, so you dont have to rely on the handwriting recognition, or the keypad. But to be honest, the keypad is quite good and pretty fast to type with once you get used to it.

guys i buy this phone 1 week ago.. and i have the smartest phone that i dreamed on.. worth it.. for back pay... thanks for your opinion guys it really help me to buy this phone... more power gsmarena ROCKS.. N series SUCKS...

sup guys! had this baby here for 3 weeks. installed alot of apps and games..also changes my icons for better look :D also did the MULTITASKING capabilities. for easy acces: change the INTERNET BUTTON on the right SIDE to a STANDBY. so dat u can quickly get to ur screen :):):) newis, my question is: WHY is my FREE MEMORY says " 76.7..doesnt it suppose to be 128...? where does the rest go? does the system using it? does 50 of memory is wasting. thanks for advance :)
