Anonymous, 01 Sep 2008Hi Anonymous, How can I ensure that which version of P1 ... moreno you cannot play you tube videos on p1i. I have tried everything...i tried on bolt browser also...a video which is about 30 secs will work but thn heavy videos like 7 mb or 8 mb will not work.

when i byed p1 its was working so nice on youtube also able to watch online movies trough wifi but last week i have upgraded software from sony ericsson site so im shocked that now youtube is not working online what i do or there is any application need more to upgrade my cell. plz help me zaighum1@hotmail.com thanks

Hi Friends,
i am using sony ericsson p1i from past 3years, but in recent days (About a month back from now till today i am facing one problem,
and i think you are the only one who can give me one solution for this,
the problem is:
I have Sony Ericsson P1i mobile handset.
The problem is i don't receive SMS, i receive them when I switch it off and turn ON. The problem is not only this. The bigger one is, when I turn it on, it shows a window saying "APPLICATION CLOSED" and with the following details :
Application Name : WatcherMainThread
Reason Code : USER
Reason Number : 11
Even After I close this window, it pops up every 5 or 10 second.
It's very annoying. What to do ???
Please Help !!!

I am using Sony Ericission P1i model mobile.I am trying to setup IMAP gmail account.After doing all the email account setup and then when i try to send the email i receive message as "Not Supported".
It uses Symbian OS v9.1 and Opera web browser.

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2010Why they didn't make P2 and what's with the P series it's o... moreactually after p1, they had came out the blueprint of P5 which was exactly look like Torch 9800. there Torch 9800 is not something new coz this kind of model had invented by SE for yrs. During that time SE planned to come out the model of P5 and W1 (Window OS), both of these model look extremely advanced at that time but due to some unfixed bug. both of this phones had to be discontinued.

U can try to google for these phones. after that, SE changed their plan and focus to G and X series. but G series is not as perfect as P series.

Why they didn't make P2 and what's with the P series it's only one phone and it's unique no other phone just let sony erricson make p2 instead of X series, the X are great but P is more practical

I bought P1i before 3 months from ebay. The seller said that it was new.I take the cell phone at my hands for 2 days when my phone switch of from battery i charge it and the next morning i switch it on and it load until half and it restarts and its make the all process again and again.
I read in a forum that is maybe from application that you install. The application are install in phone memory because i don't have memory stick.
The Sony Ericsson service doesn't support my software because its from another country and SEUC says that i have the latest firmware.
Any solution it will be nice

Great phone for its time, althrough surpassed by new models.. Sad..
Jog dial shoud'nt been applied. A simpler 3 way side buttons will be better.

You wont believe this my P1i for 3years don't have any scratches at all the moment i bought it i also bought a protector. Til now it looks like brand new. I love it.
