Does the P1 synch with Lotus Organizer ? If not is there a third party software available to do this ? I currently use a Sony Ericsson P 900 that synch with Organizer.

now a 10 day old user of the phone..... whole day tinkering around with it also last me whole day comfortable battery life....

and when i say tinkering its pretty heavy tinkering :D

rest hasnt crash on me.... response time isnt bad either....... net connectivity is great........ havent tried wifi.... blue tooth n other works very well...

jog dial is strong n have assuring click and yoohoo no joystick... cam is good and specially the flashes are pretty strong....

only apprehension i had was with the keypad.... which i think is surprizingly cool... its fast and predictive text works very well...

only thing ... i feel they could have kept in better would have been better wifi and better screen... which is sub standard compared to rest of the features.

and came in with 1gb card here in India... and costed me Rs 23.5K which is like 580$

Got the phone yesterday. Love the battery life, been using wi-fi, bluetooth, calls, emails and its still around 80%. Build quality is solid you dont feel the cheap plastics you do with the N95. 3G works and video calling works as well.

The phone is very stable and has yet to crash on me and is also pretty fast. The keyboard takes alot of getting used to as im a full QWERTY person. Basically navigation is easiest with stylus unfortunately i hate styluses.

Camera works fine and takes very good pictures, flash is also strong enough. Although its quite slow to bring up the camera but nothing catastrophic.

Call quality is clear and loud enough and caller id is pretty good as well

Alerts are decent, nothing great. Overall a decent phone. Not sure about that keyboard though. Hmmm....

You shouldn't be confusing between P1i, LG Prada, N95 and Apple iphone since P1i is the only one with KB. LG Prada is outta the talk, it is just a phone you need while you getting drunk with your friends. N95, powerful but you should ask yourself couple questions. Do you care or are you going to use the GPS? Can you stand for the slide keypad? Me, both NO. Apple iphone is really good BUT... limited to AT&T, and it's more toward to a media phone not a full buesiness phone as you can see the review. The only guy can really fight with P1i is the Nokia E90 but this thing is wiget exprinece for the time being. I had mine (P1i) for about a week, no complaint yet. Good Luck.

                          Hi all

I am just wondering if anyone knows what the video capture quality is like on the the P1. A buddy of mine that has the K810 and i have the one the best phones I have ever owner the W900 and my video capture is world apart from his. I am just wondering besides the W900 and the new K850 does SE have any phone that comes close to the N95 in video capture. MY W900 and the new K850 both have QVGA@30fps but the N95 has VGA 30fps which i have tested and it is really so much better. I have never owned a Nokia yet but really looking at the N95 unless SE has something similar in the pipe line?? Anyone got some inside info?? :-)

this phone is essentialy a business phone.i use the phone to prepare letters, lectures.use the internet,e.mail.as an organiser.the touchscreen and other type options makes this phone very versatile and fast.i get a lot done quiker.this may not appeal to those looking for a music cum camera phone,or for leisure.its more for professionals.ideally anyone who wants a versatile phone should consider this.

thanx for ur reply asd, i can go for the w960i, but i think it will be $400 more expensive than the p1i, because the reports are the it will be more than $1000, i was really considering the w910i, but it turns out it doesn't have wifi or AF in the camera, so, then I looked at p1i, it seemed to have everything, but the keypad looked akward for gaming, probably the p1i is good for everything but games looks like, i dunno thats why i was asking p1i users to post their experiences.... thanx anyway asd.... reply if u can....

I've some questions to P1i users. Is it possible to use this phone in landscape mode with games, watching videos & pictures etc. How about the navigation in landscape mode ? There is no dpad. Is it possible to use P1i with one hand only? I've seen many videos of P1i & W960 and one of the diferrence was that P1i is navigated both hands with stylus ALWAYS and W960 easly with one hand. I wonder if W960 supports VOIP like P1i ?

To AkshayGenius: well I don 'ave dis set righ now but i've got P990. If ure really into just gaming then better go for a normal keypad. I mean I don think dis type of keypad is made for dis stuff. If u can give up qwerty then u might consider W960 or if without touchscreen then Nokia E70.for the music as far as I know only W series are best as they give HW keys to control and have a good audio chip. If u want all these then ur only option maybe P1. but u have to decide if u want one with or without OS.
gimme a reply if u find this useful.

Just had mine few days back because my N95 was stolen(snatched)...great phone, no regrets. In fact, I made great choice by not getting another N95. I consider myself as an active business and multimedia user. Happy with the battery life..definitely better than N95. For those who thinks that GPS is not a priority...P1i is anytime better than N95. So far, it never hang..even when there are many active applications...Good job SE
