I am a SE fan though recently shifted to Nokia (N95) after using M600i. For people who say N95 is good pls use the phone. The battery life is pathetic does not last for even a day (guess thats why they have a light charger so you can carry it around everywhere). To add to your miseries it switches off while you are on a call and in order to restart it you need to remove the battery, now imagine doing that n number of times in a day. The camera-after you click a photograph you need to literlly freeze for half a min in order to get the right picture. It has a lot of features out of which nothing works well so makes no sense having everything but still not been satisfied with the product. I guess SE is better you decide what you really want and accordingly buy the Model and believe me you are very HAPPY. N95 is a great let down. Never a nokia again for me. When will P1 be in the market in India? Waiting for this phone - want to get rid of N95 ASAP.

Just played a bit my friend's P1, and found out that this phone is far inferior and uncomparable with Nokia E61i, in terms of functions and usage. Perhaps this phone will fits so-so party users and SE fans, but not for corporate indeed.

now being advertised as ordered on request with a price tag of £599.99 GBP.

That seems a tad pricey to me, way over N95 and 8800.

The Problem In SE is that they never try to make a combined phone featuring all the great Pros that individual SE phones and usually beats other Nokia phones only in individual facts and pros spread over different SE devices, which is exactly the apposite with Nokia such as the N95 that always tries to present all the great features of there handsets in one unique phone every year such as the well known N95 and before the N73. it seems that SE company is choosing a different market and different competition and there for never presenting a unique phone that includes all the great pros in one phone that are usually the pros that beat the Nokia handsets, and there for never getting to a face to face challenge with Nokia's combined features phone.
And the question still remains on why the SE doesn’t get in to the face-to-face boxing match with the Nokia.
The SE company does have the ability and the technology to present a great phone that combines its entire great Pros.

                  (1) K850i 5Mb Cyber-shot camera with Xenon falsh. with VGA resolution 30f/s Video. For God's sake!!!!
                  (2) P1 and W960 smart-phone Symbian OS 9.1
                  (3) W960 great walkman music features and headsets.
                  (4) P1 and W960 great 2.6" display with a good nice W960 dimensions and phone size.
                  (5) W960 Huge 8G internal memory.
                  (6) A good double stereo loud speakers.
                  (7) The Great SE battery Life.

If the SE decides to get this device in to production and face it like a Man with the Nokia, even though with a high price such as the well known N95. I believe it will be the time for Nokia to go sleep and cry out all night long.

                  Sincerely: Libyan Afreet, using N73

To Saini: What do you mean by cannot use MSN? Do you mean MSN Messenger? You can always install third party application. There are plenty of MSN Messenger applications.

my P910 I've been using for 3.5years and now it's "dead". I mean can't use at all , have revived by replacing 3 times reinstalling the mp. Can anyone tell what to do
Hope the P1 is better now

Since this device is running in "Symbian OS v9.1, UIQ 3.0", that means i cannot use MSN ?

                            Anyone knows about this ??

nice... but no joystick is just wrong (even if the phone has a touch screen). For some tasks, simple joystick is faster and easier. I returned my P910 because no 5 way navigations. P990 is nice b/c of they put 5 way navigation. But now, no joystick is kind of a trend at SE =(

Other companies mostly lack the basic functionalities like editing Office applications etc. & focus too much on other fancy items. Though other features are welcome, what about the basic foundation? Hence, Sony Ericsson rules as it has operating capability.
