i've been using this phone for almost 3 years now.before i upgraded the firmware i encountered a problem everymonth that the phone will hangs itself but after the upgrade, i did not encountered that problem any more so far.love this phone, although its bulky but still its a mans phone. its the best phone for men.

like i said virus can't affect your p1i because it has different os platform unlike nokia! restore factory your p1i or update your firmware to world generic 1 stable ,fastest firmware and latest no bug anymore your problem solve

Mr.Vijay, all the sms are stored in phone memory.As you told thousands of messages , definately causes irration in phone functioning. Try to delete maximum messages from cell for effective functioning . Bye.

hi folks this is vijay from india.nowadays i am facing one problem. i have to switch off the phone to see new messages in inbox. this is very irritating. secondly there are some 3000 sms in sent folder and another 2000 in inbox folders. these are the reasons or what i am facing this problem. please help me out ..................

I have been using this phone for more than 2 years. Have found it stable than any other models. All functions work fine with nice audio quality. Additional downloadable applications are rather limited compared to Nokia but that matters very little in terms of phone usage. Battery life is quiet good. There is no issue with the jog dial. Use a screen guard and keep the phone clean. That’s it P1 will serve you for long. Same as mine.
(I feel Sony Ericsson phones have much better built it terms of body and other parts than all other brands)

Any advice/suggestion.

use core player to watch youtube 1st you must hack your p1i use cap switch then install server.exe google is you friend try to find how to do it enjoy

Hi friends, i am using P1i since 19 months. Stylish phone with many capabilities. Good enough if you use a quality headset. My Sennheiser MX 460 headset changed the audio quality into excellent. I had placed my photos taken with mobile in flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/11341742@n02/. Its a Officer's choice.Sony Ericsson has to launch a new model with same size but speedy processor ,5mp cam. Thanks to S.E.
