im using p1 for a year and 4.. i would say that ill still stick to this.. not the best phone (well u cant name it up to date) but it has features u can proud of it e.g. wifi, touchscreen, qwerty keys, office documents, and the durability.. i cant number how many times i dropped it but the worst of it is last xmas it got soaked in the aquarium. but after 2days, its working very fine - the camera, audios, screen. and its very easy to hack, thanks to the hackers! just sad coz its OS is already dead but we, the users, will keep UIQ ALIVE!!!

i hav bin usin dis fone for months nw.......
d only thing i hav 2 say is dat ......its simply superb........its one of the fastest fone i have ever seen ......the scroll experience is one of the best in dis fone...der are only a few setbacks in dis model.but they are very few 2 say .integrating the 960's walkman player(which i had 2 do) the phone has changed into a legent.nw i cant even think of changin dis fone,coz i don think der is any competition as of nw. (in its category).
each nd every component in dis piece if equipment is made 2 its excellence.......cheers to SE ...nd uiq.....

There must be a P2.
I had my p1 when it was first released and after a year sold it and got another p1. Could not find any substitute.
Sony Ericsson make something similar to p1 please.

best fone so far! been using it for 1 year and 4 months! long battery life! wifi galore! saved many documents already.. tried the power point, and business card reader.. great great fone!

superb phone i ever had. still stayed with me because of its functionality and stability. i had sony ericsson p990i and p1i before. then i sold my p990i to upgrade to latest model from nokia, which is nokia 5800 xpressmusic, but i swapped it to nokia e63 because i cant type that fast on touchscreen. but still my p1i is with me. i think i wont be selling or swapping my sony p1i for a long time until a decent phone from any phone manufacturer would create a phone with a 5 or 8megapixels, large screen, and a qwerty keyboard. im willing to swap my nokia e63 to anyphone again but not my sony ericsson p1i. cheers!

I Still have This Phone (1,5 Years ago) its simply Amazing (except for the Slow Processor)
The Half-Qwerty Keypad was abit Strange for me but after a Month ive found out that its the Best Keypad Ever, No one Could ever Beat Me in Typing(35 words per Minute)
But its time for me to Move on ,and Unfortunately there is No New UIQ's Anymore , and The X1 Sucks , it was nothing but a Big Failure, im Aiming for the X10 but it still needs about 3 months and it will Cost more than 800$ when it gets Released |(
so I didnt find any Alternative except the
HTC Diamond 2 But Im not Sure if its Good enough to let me feel that ive made a Good Jump or even to call it a Jump ... SE Plz get the UIQ's Back To Life

hi! i got this ph since last 2 Christmas ago..
i LOVE this ph, never gave me any problems. just laggs once in a blue moon but i got the latest software, and never needed anything other than my E71..
i prefer browsing with my E71 but other than that, P1i's camera, functionality, and it's programs are to die for.
i 'm a biker and the only time my ph doesn't work is when it rained so bad my biker group had to stop and it got wet on the screen. went to fix it and it's a marvel to know that THAT's the only problem it had. been loving this ph ever since. i could trade in my E71 for another ph but NEVER this one. Thank SE.
p.s. my gf got p1's counterpart the W960, so both phs and us were like 2 pairs alike. hehehehehe. she loves her w960 as well.

hi anyone who already have this HP SE P1! does anyone ever experience problem with their keypad. slow response or hang maybe. actually i'm thinking to change my HP. currently i'm using W660i but there's a few problem such as the slow keypad response & the photo quality. its quit sucks. my HP camera is 2.0MP. but i still love SE :) please reply..tQ

i bought this phone 1 year ago and i am verry pleased with it.no problems at all and verry good battery life.the only think that misses is the flahs support for internet and a bigger and faster processor, its kind of luggy when reeding a big pdf or word document.it felt from my hands 2 times on the stears and its ok, only few sratches on the aluminium face.first i thaught that the back plastic cover will luse its color in time and will be ugly, but it didnt happened.it loks verry good and i am using it every day.i think at changing it with the xperia x10 when will be avaible, but i'll sure miss the qwerty keepad, wich i love cause i like texting a lot.
