Help! I can't unlock the keypad. The unlock button on the screen isn't appearing. Anyone experienced this? I've had this phone for 2 years now and it's still working fine except for this problem which just happened now.

this has got to be the best phone ever! very stable software, firmware, etc....good battery life and very elegant design.

Hi guys i need help with my p1i, i dont know what happened to it or what i did to it but now when i try to turn on the phone it says
"INFORMATION,blackberry is not not enabled on this sim. Please contact your network operator"

I love this phone so much too. Has all connections types and works great. I use it since january 2008 and don't understand why people not choose it.

The only one word I have to say is this phone is awesome. Its QWERTY key board and a Touch screen interface is a plus point as very few phones have a combi of touch and keyboard. I have been using it for past 2 years and its one of the best phones i have had in last 8 years :)
The battery backup is quite good 1-2 days on a single charge. OS is quite stable in performance as compared to Nokia's OS which tends to get slow with apps.
Hope SE releases a new P1 with some changes to screen resolution and size .. Kudos SE !!

dave, 30 Aug 2009my screen isnt aligned with my pen .. its like iam touching... moreplease perform the following procedure to aligne the touch screen of p1i,
goto menu-->control pannel -->others-->setup wizard.
run this setup wizard and at a certain step you will be asked to touch the exact four corners one by one .perform the task and it will be alligned.

P1 is my 4th handaset its 10 times better than nokia , no software issues for the last 2yrs
and the metal frame has saved me handset n numver of times

I have been using the p1i for almost 2 years now, and all i can say about it is a wonderful phone with very great features,very stable operating system "almost one or two crashes only over the past 2 years" and it's size is amazing "compared to my old p800"..i really highly recommend it for every one.

before i got the P1i, i had k800i first and then bought the G900 for a change, at first i was happy for it was my 1st touch screen phone, but 'cause of it' small screen and limited featires, and then 2months passes by my sister bought me a phone and my choices were the k850i and P1i, and at 1st i already wanted this phone (P1i) ,now it has been w/ me for about 5months now i am very much happy of what i have now,,,
P1i rocks!

Does this phone have code lock like Nokia? Code lock is different from "Keypad lock" , you need to enter the right number coding before you can access the main features of the phone.. It is an added security feature from Nokia. So does this phone have "code lock?"
