p1 user, 05 Dec 2008helo ma fwen..actually ur phone doesnt hv prob..p1 hang coz... moreI think my p1 facing problem, cuz SE service centre repair my p1 and change the whole engine after 4 time upgrade software n still hanging..
The problem isn't from the running application..
be'coz all of the application are closed, but when i send sms or making call, the phone hanging and couldn't response,..
The phone can't turn off n should open the battery to turn off then turn on again to get the phone switch on...
Now i'm waiting for my p1 from the SE service centre
Am I get the defact product?????

Aki, 15 Dec 2008I already bought the phone today.it was great.yup!Typing is... moreok aki heres how...go to CONTROL PANEL, select DEVICE, then select Backlight. and when your there...you can see two tabs which is SETTINGS and BRIGHTNESS.under the SETTINGS tab click HANDHELD and choose auto. Click CAR HOLDER and choose auto. then click save. ok now,click on the BRIGHTNESS TAB,click backlight choose Handheld (normal). Then on the lower part there is a Brightness Bar.so you can choose the percentage of you backlights brightness. or click on default it will be on 90%.on my P1i i only use 50% of brightness. it actually prolong your battery life.

Symbian Fans, 15 Dec 2008i don't like P1i casing colour why Sony Ericsson use Silver... morehi, i just recently purchased a SE earbud and at the same time went to have my P1i Gmasked...i also love Black.so i decided to get that color. its really beautiful and elegant...thanks to gmask!!!i enjoy it more and it will protect my P1i from scratches...

1. U can update firmware through SEUS in official website but approach customer care. Latest firmware is R9K009.
2. U can change 'Any Key' anwer mode to normal mode. Goto Control Panel-Call Settings-Handsfree-select 'Normal' instead of anykey.
3. U can switch on flash light for 1 minute or for on for long time but u need to install torch application modified by Swmail.

I already bought the phone today.it was great.yup!Typing is so easy for first time user.But there's few problems;how to set the wap?How to set the brightness?i had made it dim.but still the brightness is set to 90% itself

People who say they took time to get used to the keyboard must be really bad at learning things (including GSM Arena reviewers). Coz i was typing like a pro from the time i wrote the first few words on my phone
Don't be intimidated by what people say. This phone is a Swiss army knife it can do anything. Get it!

What the Firmware u have as I m with R9K009 here is No Option like as u asking about Receiving the call With Any Key May that’s not avail in The Firmware which I have..
There is no Option and we cant Turn On the Flash Lite For Specific Time..
