Hi,
I have recently sent in my P1i to fix the frequent "software" hangs problem. After i collected, is still hangs. After collection from the service centre, the first hang happened after a overnight charging from Sun to Mon. The second hangs happen on Tue (4 Nov 08). Each time i have to remove battery to restart the phone, as the reset button just doesnt work.
anyone has advise or i have to send in again. Really like this phone, just want to get through this ordeal asap. Thanks.

Thanks for the help. I have tried to restart my phone several times after it showed that the files were already transferred. But still I don't have anything even in my messages.
So this bug you are talking about, will this harm my phone?

it was stated that p1i can only support 4gb m2 on its specification but in reality 8gb m2 works. P1i and w960 is much alike so theres no doubt 8gb m2 works fine with p1i

Thats Bug after R9G007 in all Firmwares
Restart ur phone then check in messages there will b no msg on the screen for Information but as u will go in Messages then here from u can see 1 Unopened msg

Thanks for the reply. I have checked even my inbox but still I cannot find the mp3 file. I also tried to semd pictures using the LG through my p1 but sitll i got the same result. It only showed that I am connected via blietooth and that the files were being transferred. It also shows in LG that the files were transferred successfully. P1i shows that the files were received, But then again the files are missing. Cannot find them anywhere. And my memory card and phone memory stays the same. As if i haven't received anything

transfered data via bluetooth was sent as an SMS. U should go to SMS inbox and open it and choose save then follow the instruction, where do u want to save the file, phone memory or external memory but remember, internal memory only 160Mb, so if u transferred more than 160Mb u should save some to external memory than delete the sms so it free the internal memory and could receive the rest of data transfered

I've bought my P1i since August 20th with no problem appear since I've add 8 gig M2 ultra from Sandisk, hack with walkman player 3, everything works fine & fast transfered data to 8gig M2. Bad experience only in handwriting, can't write in fast move, winmo OS is better in handwriting but bottom line I love my P1i coz it's useful and cheap compare to winmo phone

I tried to send mp3 files from an LG phone via bluetooth to my p1i. It showed that it is connected and the data is being transferred. After it says that the file is already transferred 100%, it jsut disappeared as if nothing happened and I don't have nay beam message. I tried to look for it in memory card and phone memory, but still I haven't found amything. I also checked my memory status, but it stays the same. Its as if i haven't received anything eventhough my p1i indicates that an mp3 file was being transferred.

I just wonder if this phone is still worth buying even though sony ericsson officially announced that they would no longer support UIQ interface(P1 has UIQ3 interface ), and just recently motorola also ceased their support in UIQ interface.

i am enjoying my p1i but all of a sudden, the screen started behaving funny. u have to touch the screen at a spot above the icon u need to get the effect u need . the screen is acting funny as if it shifted. can any one pls tell me how best to fix this
