dean, 04 Apr 2011i have this phone since 2006 im still using it, works and m... moreHell yeah! I have my P990i since 2007 and I love it. The only problem I have is the battery, it's old and it drains fast. Other than that, it never gave me problems. I just got a brand new HTC Desire, and the first unit I got was unusable coz it overheats. Had it replaced with a new one, and now i just noticed it has dead pixels on the screen. STUPID PHONE. I guess they don't make phones the way they used to.

i love p990 i dont know why because the spec is very useful. i want to ask if i can upgrade the memory card or the sd..thanks alot

i am using the phone for 2 yrs n i love it.bt few days back i realsied that my phone was going on the web automatically.i am really tensed nd would like to know the solution.waithing for your reply.

try to clean the contact point under the mobile phone because due to oxidation the contact point is not functioning well .. advice use a pin tu scratch the contact point and do the same deal with the contact point of your charger as well this will help.. do the same thing with the contact point inside,, the contact point of the battery and the phone itself.. hope i this help.. by the way once it is scratched it should be shinny hahahaha and then try to charge your phone again

my phone cannot charge efficiently of late it says replace main batteries i bought a new phone but still the problem continues dont knw wat to do coz i luv my phone pliz advice me can someone tel me where the memory card is inside the phone my touch screen is not working

so guys im now moving to the sony ericsson P1 but dont worry its just the same thing now im still keeping this phone and i hope you will have fun in upgrading your p990 all you need is the cable from your phone to your computer, programs , know how's and guts in exploring the phone's software , believe me you will go far

ebuddy is a java apps and the main internet of this phone is also java (operamini 2.0v) so i suggest upgrade your ebuddy to 3.0 or get a bolt browser 3.01v this will at least give you more power on the net using your mobile (chat, email, youtube, live streaming and downloading feature all in this bolt browser.. im using UCWeb , Bolt, opera mini 4.2 operamini 5.121 operamini 5.122, and opera 10.1 and ebuddy 3.0 (mobile net addict hahahah)

if the wifi you search has a padlock icon on the side plaese ask for the password and set it up > put password > save > then connect if you want to know how to set it up please refer to the manual hahahahah just kidding hahahahah but seriously the manual its a big help as well look at the upper left of this screen underneath the picture of this phone there is a link for the manual , justr click , download and read hope i helped
