i dont think se puts quickshare on their phones anymore maybe these are the last models but what difference does it make it will give you the same functionality as with any other 990 i have phone with 990 on it but makes no diff just enjoy man you got a good cell.cheers

this is a great phone, it has a large touch screen, great lcd, qwerty keyboard, large internal memory, good camera quality. its truly a pda/phone in one! its got wi-fi and wlan capabilities.....good sound quality!

anyone here knows the difference between a p990i with "quickshare" logo and with a "p990i" logo? both boxes for both fones are made in france? any ideas what are their difference?

with this latest firmware the pics are of gr8 quality so update again and do not move your hand while clicking it.

will updating my firmware help my phone to snap better pics.. cause right now sometimes the pics i've taken are blurry..

u can put ur P990i in silent mode when ur flip is open.
go to the left bottom of d screen where u can see the signal of d network beside of dat der is black triangle click dat triangle den chose volume then put thick mark on silent
that ur mobile is in silent mode.

i have a w700,and my broth has the p990.i like it's large screen ,very bright & very nice 2 watch videos.it does play mp4 too.u can go directly to a scene, using the stylus,whereas in other models u just have to keep forwarding,which annoying specially long videos.but themes not as much as w & k series.overall a good phone.

well i have not tried listening to mp3 and browsing the web bcos i do not have the time for that cos of exam but.
1. if u want battery to last very long simply reduced the brightness of the backlight.
2. if u have updated ur firmware u should have between 17mb and 10mb of ram that is if u are not running any applications or.
3. about being user friedly it is bcos u are not used to the interface that is y it seems as if it is not user friendly.
4. i advice anyone who wants to buy this phone to buy it bcos it is a good device.
5 gaming: it does not run some of the java games i used to play on my k800 or w800 but believe me if u want to enjoy games simply download uiq3 games or gba rom games and believe me u would never want to stop playing games on ur device.
overall i rate this phone 90% because it is loaded and very tapping.
trust me i own one that is y i can tell u this.

hey p990i users i just updated my p990 latest firmware version, but im still having problems with the memory i thought this will resolve the issue,
it cant open word documents with more than 170kb file size,it says---not enough memory---
can someone help me out......ive tried restarting the phone giving me 15.7mb max available memory and when you try opening other applications it just eats up the memory
ive tried closing all the opened applications and tried checking the available memory again and ive noticed that it keeps decreasing everytime and you need to turn off your phone again to get the 15 mb memory back, are you guys having the same problem???i think thrs a MONSTER!!! inside my phone!!!!! not a BUG i need help
