I got this mobile in 2009. Until now it works very great..!! I played many of UIQ3 games. Still runing it's all the features without making any disturbance, while maintaining good battery life...

my p990i retired 2012 and it was a good long run.. one of the best phone with a max memory of 8GB only since system will malfunction if you tried to get a higher memory but it was a great experience. from camera to battery life to performance .. the best of sony ericsson. I hope they release a similar tech of touch and type.

Bought in 2007, have only upgraded to 4gb memory card and replaced the battery in 2011. I do get the occasional funny looks when I'm seen with the 'brick' as the current trend is having big screen and thin phones. Recently getting more 'memory corrupted' messages, so I'm thinking of retiring it when I get my iPhone 6 Plus.
Too bad Sony stopped at P1 and is not coming out with this range anymore. Their Xperias just don't seem too attractive.

joketang, 25 May 2013i have a sony ericcison p9901 and it got fused after insert... moreask them to reformat your phone and it will remove all the info in your phone like saved contacts back up message bank. internet cache and hopefully all the viruses as well.. but at least its worth a shot in getting your phone up and running again ... if they cant fix it as long as you can connect your phone to your computer you can do it yourself...

ghassan, 07 Jun 2013how can i change the cover of p990iremove the back cover there's 2 screw to remove the keypad and four screw to remove the back cover.. then there are additional crew inside to remove the board from the front covering the trickiset is the screw near the copper cap that is your antenna coz it falls off easily.. then now you can remove all the case.. if your case is still ok i advise you to just hit it with pylox paint or any spray paint or if you know any airbrush artist you can personalize this phone

i have a sony ericcison p9901 and it got fused after inserting a cable to hear a radio.....it went off and had been shown to any repairing shop but couldnt repair nor detect its problem....?can i have your views and suggestion about how shouldit be done to get working
