but from where did u get ur R9 firmware is my question. I go to the SE website and only see 2.6.11.7 version which i believe was an older one i.e; R7...Can any1 please help me. I too want to get R9 firmware..please send us the link by copy paste so that we too can enjoy R9 firmware which i presume would be better and faster.

i have updated my phone last night now:

till now it havent restarted and it very faster now.the videos with any size 100mb 200mb gonna show after a click.
now it is very good phone

Before I buy 990i please confirm if I am able to synchronise calendar and contacts in Lotus Notes. My office do not use Outlook Express.

My p990i is great apart from the wlan is only 802.11 "b" could have been "g". Sony come on get yr fingers out. Faster is better! yea!!!!!

damn it !! plz guyz dont joke....!! is R9 seriously out or not ?? whoz dat bloody person...who said dat !! tell me ...m currently havin R7...
It's no joke! R9 is out! But when i tried to update with my phone with it the phone did a master reset without me even authorizing this. Basically i lost everything that was stored to my phone like my contacts and a couple applications but everything on my memory stick was reinstalled.
PS. And for those of you out there wondering, im from the US so it is available here.

i heard there's R9... but, how come when i run SEUS, it says update not needed?
