Din@r, 04 Mar 2010Never being bored wth ths fone..i like use ths fone compare... morehahaha dinar if you think this phone is good go to operamini.com or operaminicommunity.com download the opera mini 5 beta 2 for your phone for internet browsing hahahahah this will rock your world and will change your point of view in using this phone .. if you think your phone is already powerful wait till you try this program .. this will allow you to view webpages that connot be viewed by the built in web program on our phone.. this will let you see the exactly the same thing that you see on your computer screen meaning all pictures, details its not a mobile view you can zoom in and out to read the details etc.... try it..

if you got it from a PC possible that the file is not compatible with your phone.. so before trying to transfer your file from pc to phone try to rename the file from .mp4 to .mp3 at the end if the name if you can change it if not
2nd get a file explorer for p990 and then change the file name from .mp4 to .mp3 it should work i've been doing it so many times hehehehe if it still doesnt work
3rd option try to use your phone video take a 30 second and play it if it works there is no problem with your phone, but if it doesnt play your mobile needs to be reprogram for your mp4 player to work again
but please as much as possible reprograming your p990 should be your last option because it will delete all of your file and it will restore your phone to its factory settings hope this help

Russ, 03 Mar 2010hi guyz, i hv been using a P990i for the past 2 years, and ... moreRUSS you have a problem on your p990 i check our phones here and our mobile can still get a nice pic even if we didnt push the capture button in full our auto focus is working just fine.. i suggest you find the disk cleaner program that will clean the unwanted file of your operating system (OS)that is causing this kind of issue that is according to my friend Robby who is a technitian of mobile phones, dont worry this will not reboot your phone and deleteyour files like pictures, video etc ok hope this help by the way this is a java file

hi guyz, i hv been using a P990i for the past 2 years, and touch wood till today its been fine...now i hav a small question for all the p990i users..does your phone go out of focus while clicking a photo(if the click button is not pressed fully) ???cos mine does...then i hv to just switch into video mode and switch back into photo mode...is this normal or am i into big trouble???

good news guys opera mini 5 beta that soon to be available for i-phones can be used on our P990 phones I've been using it for 3 months already and it rocks multibrowsing window you cna access 5 websites at the same time hahaha and who said this phone is weak

well you are calling our phone cheap maybe beacuse you dont have one, you dont know its full capability and what can it do go to symbianize.com forum p990 and see the full power of this phone that tops even the blackberry curve.. this phone rocks

Too all observant. Shaina Magdayao who is supposed to be very rich in the 2010 teleserye RUBY is using P990i.
The rich Jacklyn Jose in 2010 "Kung Tayoy Magkakalayo" is also using this cheap phone LOL!

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2010for the problem of files to be remained even after deleting... morei understand your problem hahahaha but you cant blame the companies for producing cheap items because many companies are buying these items to save money and gain more profit hahahahahah so might as well go on hunting for an original memory card and you can use up to 2GB now to avoid problems put all your files on your memory card so at least if your programs and files will crash your phone will not and be saved right.. might as well loose all my files rather than loosing my phone .. hahahah ilove p990i

it was black with a golden color typed SONY and in red background (in small line)were written memory stick due pro.
finally with some experiments of writing Mb by Mb on it i understood it has just 438 Mb capacity !!!
it was a shock indeed!!! i mean after writing some data(even by a memory card reader device) more than 438 Mb it was making other previous files corrupted and wouldn't read those files any more,and with my phone after over flowing that 438 my phone crashed,hanged and i had to take out the battery!!!
down with china for making that fake stuffs...
it was so shock to bazar(market) of P990 which the price came from 750$ to 320$ in a sudden!!!
and that was just for that fake memos which no one didn't know the reason of crashing p990 are for that, not the phone itself...
so give me the right to say:

arun post your email address here i will send the file explorer to you and then just download the file and install it you can now edit file names like for example wav files to mp3 files and you can even now unzipped the zip files that you download

first try to check your file manager/video (memory card or phone memory) look for the video/ if you will see a question mark beside the file name of the video the file connot be read and possible corrupted might as well delete it
if the video connot be played try to turn off your mobile and remove the memory card let it rest for 10 seconds and return the memory card properly turn phone on and try after 1 minute
last option is i will send you an link for a file explorer so you can check your phone internal files

yes mr yoso you can use a different memory stick on your mobile make sure that the maximum capacity is only 2GB becuase more than that your mobile will freeze every once and a while
