Question:
Does the p990 send multiple files using bluetooth/infra?
I think they are selling the unit(P990) for 36kpesos($720us) in greenhills.

to MUMU, you need service pack 2 with most of the latest phone pc suite's so it's not just S.E. Also S.E have confirmed they will be selling the phone sim free and Vodafone contracts in 2 weeks time.

Just sold it off today. Really irritating phone that hangs every so often. Users of the 910i will really be surprise that it is not a step forward, but a real step backwards with the exception of the wifi and the card reader. Wanted to sell it off the following day after I got it but finally manage to sell it off at a big loss after 2 weeks.

hi..everyone..jus wanna say p990i is now available in malaysia..rm3000..about U.S820..unlock..ready to be use..got mine y'day..so far its ok..nice built..guys need your help..to know how to transfer big pdfs file to this phone..thanks..

After 3 years of P910i, P990i looks and feels better to me. Especially WiFi connection is great. I have a question that is bugging me...I used a Memory Stick Pro Duo before(512) with P910, no problems. I am trying to use the 2 GB Pro Duo (came with the phone)now and the phone will not format it, it sees a corrupted D: disk. I format it on the computer with both FAT and FAT32 no results. May be 2 GB is not supported or is there a way to this maddness?
If you could help it will be much appreciated.

SE PC SOFTEARE REALLY SUCKS :D i didn't managed to install it on a pc without f..king the computer by installing M$ Service pack 2 for XP.
why the hell it needs SP2 ???

i just got mine yesterday here in romania.
first impressions? it doesn't feel as solid as P910i and it's slow. anything else works perfect. card scanner is just great.
the first thing that i did was to update the software. the phone started to work a little bit faster.
my personal opinion is that looking at the specs the phone is powerfull and is just a software problem that SE will fix in the near future.
as for what i read here regarding vodafone or orange and their delay, i think that they don't want to support the users to update the software and other callcenter hassle. so they just wait for a better software.
to finalise: if you have the money, go for it , it's just great and it will be much better in the near future.

Great news for Saudi Arabia. Just got mine from Cellucom in Jeddah for SR. 2985. No Arabic support yet.

Se 990 has totally dihearted me, most expensive,but most Slow and difficult n working.Se have sent n the market those fone which were to be recalled or full of bugs.It isUS people who by commenting frustrate Se to bring out model which hav not gone tests n labs.Results we r to be blamed.I am repenting on 550us $ the trouble for owning a test mobile===============?

i've spoken to vodafone(uk) about this phone,yet again release has been put back to sept 29th,also vodafone have stopped selling n91 and n80 due to software problems.it seems alot of these smartfones are nothing more than repackaged prototypes.a bit of advice to se and nokia don't bother announcing a new phone till it actually works.

based from reviews that weve conducted it shows that P990 is one helluva superior phone which naturally transcends the N series of Nokia-

I want to buy p990i but P990i doesn nto have some features compared to some of smart pohones. 1. Where is EDGE, 2.Where is 3.2 mega pixsel camera., EDGE is important for me but according to price , P990i doesnt have edge and 3.2 mega pixsel camera , I could not undertstand SE , They have EDGE and 3.2 mega pixsel camera , W810i and K790i but P990 doesnt have , why?

had just recieved the p990i from o2 for £220 and it was the biggest disapointment i have had this year. the software on this handset for o2 is slow and faulty. it will lock you onto applications and the only remedy is to take the battry out and re-insert it. i have spoken to o2 representatives at the store who stated it is a common problem with this handset .

2 all da sg fans..p990i is also available at far east,2nd floor at whymobile..i bought myn fo bout 1290 SGD but tht was bout almost 2 weeks baak but it shud b around 1225-1250s now..n btw me realy happy coz i bought both da p990i n n80 at da same tym n i alredy own a se w810i,wht mo can i ask fo.....had a wondrful vacation..SG & KL rocks..

Check this website : www.getjar.com, free application especially for java J2ME. can be used for P990. for Symbian still waiting for 3rd party.

I just rang expansys uk, and they say they have the P990i on Orange in STOCK, the web site is showing as pre-order, because they have to send out the back orders. That can only mean that the official Orange release is just round the corner.

After waiting for months, I have bought by new P990 yesterday.. As a 2,5 year p900 owner, this new version has everything I need now but it is very slow and somehow difficult to use after p900.. I bought&used i-mate kjam, n91, n71 etc.. but nothing compares to p990..
