just need to ask a few questions.
a) which is better? atom exec or p990 in terms of sound quality, speaker sound, as an organizer, stability and battery life
b) is msn compatible with p990??/

to Mark, haven't seen a P990? just one click away on the P990 image on gsmarena! there's a qwerty keypad on the phone body, hidden by the flip!

Hey guys,
I had a P900 and loved the phone, until it got damaged a few months back. Was due for an upgrade, and waited patiently for the P990 for 3 months, with the release date being postponed all the time... Eventually , about a month back I just got fed-up of waiting and got me an I-mate Jammin instead...It's an awesome alternative, and superior in quite a few areas to SE (except speaker quality i would reckon). Never had any firmware problems to date , and all programs integrate seamlessly with my PC through Activesink. The dealays in the P990 was suposedly to sort out firmware issues, butseeing all the complaints in here from the users, it makes you wonder about SE's ability to keep ahead of the pack...I think they're loosing the plot, and I'm sure many others have jumped ship too because of this device...

guys pls let me know abt the atom and p990 screen are the same or which one is bigger and will the screen guard work for p990 let me know.and this for the guy who has posted before me is this positive info that there is a screen caliberation in p 990 i am not finding it in the manual?

Yes you can calibrate the screen, the one tested and reviewed on this website was a prototype

can someone pls tell me the diff in screen size between atom and 990 pls i want to buy a screen guard for p 990 but i think the atom screen is a bit wider or maybe bcs of the qwerty board of p990 it seems so or maybe they are the same pls let me know thanks

Had P990i as expecting n doubts, it hangs ad calibirate part missing normally we hav to stike twice or more to set application close or restart or even open any app.The price is 650 $ too exp that its apps. We r all idots to run for first ad latest ad create hype so launch model with defects pass to custommers SE has FUN......

Excusez moi,
To those who owned this phone, I just want to ask you guys is it easy to install application into this phone, and is it possible to assign MP3 for the message alert tone? Because, from what I've experienced, the MP3 can only be assigned as the ringing tone - unlike Nokias. How well does this phone perform compared to the Nokia N93?

P990 runs out a much britter screen than its predecessors... also, it has a much faster processor and handles muliple applications( multitasking) fater than previous P devises... that explains why the battery drains quickly. I myself, it last me 1day and half.

I just got my p990. My hardware lock key on the side of the phone doesn't seem to be working. Is there a way to configure it, or is it just faulty. Can you please give me a hand.

for those of you wanting to install a free IM on P990, try Mig33! Its a freeware, I installed it yesterday, it works nicely, execpt that its not v stable ..
It also includes a payable VoiP service, and free chat rooms....etc
However, i couldnt get MSN messanger to work.
If u try it plz give me some feedback...
