Yes I agree the P910 design is better than the 990...I will not buy the 990 and will wait for the new Nokia communicator series

I used all P-series starting P800 and presently using P910i, but I am not going to use this P990 of SE because of the delay in releasing plus many bugs. For sure, successor of P990 will be very nice and free of bugs and hopefully with 4 or 5MP camera as Nokia is going to release a 5MP camera phone before end of this year (N83). SE should come out with a better design for its P-series. I prefer the design of P910i than the P990i.

Yeah! I can confirm that Vodafone UK told me also the 990 will hopefully be released around 9th September. Some software issues and other related problems have put the release back a further two or three weeks. Sigh!

I bought p990i 3 days ago.. It coasts
~1161 $ (in Moscow). It's too much, but I like it :)Unfortunately P990i have a lot bugs :( . I'll be waiting new soft for it.

I am really fed up waiting.With my pre-order coupon in hand i thought the phone would be with me by now.But none of the retailers seems to have a clue on when it will be available on the shelves.One group says it would be in by 16th or 17th and there is another group saying end of August.I am totally dissapointed SE.

For those in the UK, vodafone are now releasing the P990i on the 9th Sept and O2 are saying the 11th Sept.
In addition, it would be nice if those that post messages could at least attempt to ensure they make sense. Broken english isn't a problem but up to a point it just gets annoying.

Hey guys,..the phose is selling in all mobile stores in Brunei for the price of BND$1300 is that price..ok? I remembered when I bought my P900 and P800 when it first came out it was the best gadget during that time. I guess thats the typical price tag for the P-series espcially the high-end models..isn't it..but surely I will drop around 900+average....just for your info..

hi all they will sale there phones to asia with high price than they will make it less when they sale it in europ again the will sale it with high price and they are going recycle there job i am mad of them u se don`t play this game with your customers and i am sure u will lose good luck all and good luck se i hope you think ahead se

This phone is good thats for sure,but I think SE needs to workout a pocket friendly price for it.Otherwise its one phone I recomend for all to give a shot.

i advise all of you that are still willing to wait for the p990 not to purchase it once it is available worldwide. im sure they have not worked out all the bugs..i hope none of you have paid the $1000+ dollars for this unit.. its really not worth that much..

Guys take my word , go try the dopod 838PRO and you will be amazed. Definately slimmer, thinner and a whole lot more action than this SE. I am using the Dopod, Just bought one, ok, I can afford tyo change Phones everyday, but I give you good comments, and honest ones. The Dopod 838PRO is definately cheaper and does alot more. The keybord is really great, bigger and slips wonderfully under the screen and is bigger than the SE Qwerty keyboard. It lights up when it is dark and the keys are great to press.

Guys...what I said before.this fone will hit really bad who wait this long.Bettter bough Trion or Dopod 838 Pro (same HTC TyTN) for just US$ 800. or bought SE M600, same OS with full qwerty keybord for just US$500.

SE , you r totally loosing your god damn brain...over $1000 USD for this pop!! I could go for 10 days vacations @ the carabians + purchase a reliable Nokia , samsung, or LG Camera phone,(To take snapshots of great time) and still save $$$...
SE, u'd better change your marketing strategy, if you want to retain your customers!!

what the hail is going on........ ?. i was waiting for this cell from last six months after that i was tired to wait and wait, then i got my new nokia n91, i m compeletely satisfied with the quality,its better than all sony ericsson WALKMAN branded phone. i think p990i is much more expensive to buy. they do not deserve their cost at all becauze of the delays over delays and some bugs of UIQ 3. go to hail se.

This phone is way over priced. If they wish to actually sell this phone then they will need to drop the prices big time on this phone. I can't imagine one spending so much money on a phone when one can get an ATOM or Imate for less. One can buy a cheap phone and laptop for less.
