Hey Yo all P990i droolers. Its coming out 1st week August is India.So i guess it'll be out pretty much within a months time all over da globe.Just a little info for u all.It was showcased in the Mobile Expo in New Delhi in December 2005 and after a day the only thing Sony Guys had to show was the Handset but it wud not function.They had advertised that people can come and test it but the software was just not compatible with the new symbian OS so it just crashed. A word of advice for people who wanna buy it.Wait a while as they r sure to be some bugs in the initial releases.

I called sony-ericsson yesterday and they say "We have no solid information on this phone" so tell me guys what's worth it?
So tonight i shall purchase Nokia N-80 as it is available in market.
SE People are not confident over this product so how come a consumer will.......

I think I'd buy the SAMSUNG i750 , because :
-it has Arabic support.
-smaller & more elegant than P990
-Its infra red works as remote control for home applinaces
-2MP + Autofocus
I know it lacks UMTS ,3G & 2nd cam , but it is a good choicse , beside it has WinMobile 2003 SE , so I can browse any website , not like OPERA , only Latin text

this is a classic phone ,the ultimate pda /gsm phone - any way u look at it u get ericsson technology with sony magic thats "y" sony chose ericsson"y"

Se might be out,butwhat hav they added within one year,does not looks upgraded.Surely the firmware plus technical problems r main cause.Lets seen the LAUNCH may be they would supply to thirdworld countries yearold firmware. Be on guard unless 3 months later next batch arrive with all clear tag.....
