I love SE since the very beginning when it is just Ericsson. From T10, T28, T39, T68,T610, S700 and now K750i. Almost getting sick of waiting.
Just because SE delivered its best sound quality that worth for waiting (maybe next model n not the old phone P990i). If not i will just grab a O2 Atom, with all similar function except sound quality. K800i !! when u coming???

    When the phone launch, its already outdated and will lost some of the fans pasions. I have been waiting for this phone for 9 months since it announce, thinks twice before you buy an "OLD" phone. Better suggest get K800i, 3.2Mp. But hope it will launch soon without delay again. DID SE have problem on their HIGH END phone??

      There is also no guarantee that the P990i will be out in August.

          Somebody below inquired about the ability to record both ends of the converssation on the P910 and The P990. It seems SE is misleading people ,P910 doesnt record tel conversation. I dont know about P990

            Wow... I just realized I am not the only person who's been dying to have SE P990... Unfortunately for us SE has not been very concise with their words. They have been changing their release date from time to time which makes us ( their customers ) lose our interest with the phone. It's really tough to wait for something that is not coming. I hope that SE is going to do something about this. Or else their loyal customers will be forced to purchase Nokia phones which are indeed innovated and posseses superb features. N93 could be an option... In fact, me and my 3 siblings are planning to get an N93 if SE P990 is not going to be out in the market on July... Whew.. I only have one question for SE.... HOW SOON IS SOON??? tsk tsk tsk... Goodluck SE...

              UK SE Internet just update the P990I release date is AUGUST! WTF!! One moth and delay one more month. SE is playing with customer waiting energy! For those internet said have the price of SE P990I, all is bull shxt and cheating us!!

                Can anyone tell me if the P910 or P990 is able to record both sides of a phone conversation and how well does it work? SE informed me that the P990, like the P910 has this feature so I have been waiting very patiently for its release. I have the old P900 which doesn't include this feature.

                  its worth waiting !, stii p990i is not yet relesed in market, is it anything going wrong with this babe?. at last month SE representative told this phone will available in till mid june, now they said most probably it is come in first week of july. i think SE playing with the customers emotions, why they r not going to launch this phone soon?. do the hail with SE team. if it is not coming within a fifteen days, then unfortunately i'll go for nokia n91. plz do something SE. eagerly waiting for the relese.

                          I totally agreed with you that by the time Sonyericsson launch this P990 and it will be somehow outdated model even for K800i.

                          I'm very puzzled why Sonyericsson takes so long to launch its new models unlike Nokia launch new models very fast and capture market also very fast.

                          It's sad thing for Sonyericsson...

                              yup..why wait till 2007 when it's been released here in Jakarta, u can check this out in this site http://www.ponseljakarta.com/iklan/se/p990.htm
                              not buying yet,coz still using N9500 and N70 and it's still great and easy cellular...and the price is about USD850 or Rp.8.500.000 in rupiah...so Indonesia must be the lucky one...

                                i jus bought the n71 i had a problem with the screen & the keys (the keys scratch the screen when closed)so is the same poblem here with p990?&i want 2 know whetehr the n71 has a better sound quality cause the n71 has 4 speakers& 64 cords so can any oe tell me is the p990i worth value for money cause i'm bored with nokia i had the 6230i.6600.6630,6680& still didnt find what i need,money is wasted i really think this one is the one any ideas also about wether the radio is stereo??

                                  also, are you serious about the price? USD850.00 sounds like a really good deal. have you bought one already? how is the sound, what about the application and functioning?

                                    there is no office application preinstalled in N91. however, you can get the application separately, it is from Wibits.com, the whole thing, from ms.excel to ms.word....but why shoul we go for office applications on this phone. if office application is important for you, then the best choice is definitely not N91, you should go for phone with big screen, for example, Nokia E61, or.. well, wait for this Se990i.
                                    by the way, if you take a look at Nokia E61, you will find something interesting, you will have office application preinstalled, wlan available, bigscreen, voip available, email.....oh, and the speaker is perfect, it's so loud and clear... pity it hasnt got camera. well, but that's the way they do business right, you have this, and you wont have that....it's for diferent favour, diferent taste.... anyway, consider that.

                                        it's already released in jakarta, Indonesia, the is much about USD 850...sadly it only support 802.11b not 802.11g...but finally dream come true...
