Sorry about last post, N80 does have WiFi... but not touch screen that gives you direct, fast access to the applications what i have expirence from P910. By the way Slider is not a good funtion for Smart Phone... I think of ...

the features for the p990i is way much better compared to the p800 and the p900 but i think it would be better for the p990i to send and receive fax.

Imho I really want this phone but I'm now under the belief that they should delay it and add to the spec a bigger camera and the w950's microdrive??

I see N80 got a higher score than p990, it dosen't even have wifi. and I think for people never use the phone that is a miss leading. I've been use P910i for almost a year, it's so easy to use and full software option (i removed the flip) and compare made me wanting p990... so bad...
here telling you and all perfetionals try p990 and you will not use any others...

Been waiting. P910i discontinued. Void in market!! My contract expires in 2weeks. Please SE, what do I replace my old P800 with???
What do I do for the next 3 months??
Do you want me to go get a Nokia or iMate to fill this void you created??
Stop dragging your feet, your'e gonna loose me as a customer!
I don't even know if it's gonna be a car's price either- what's the point in waiting if it's gonna be too expensive.
Come on guys and girls....

Definitely SE's top dog phone. This model truly decimates all Nokia models, including the current N-series. P990 is definitely on my wishlist.

Just to clarify, the phone does have an RDS Radio and being 3g i would think that television streaming should not be a problem. Most networks have tv streaming as part there 3g services. Plus i have only read that it can take up to 2gb external memory, thats from SE press resources page, But 2gb should be plenty. So this phone should do everything a nokia can do and more!! as a p900 user and avid SE lover i cant wait for this revolutionary handset.

For all of you anxiously waiting for the phone: if been throught that with the p900 as well...
As for the features and insights in the phone have a look at the my-symbian forum at www.my-symbian.com.
There are actual screenshots and lot of inside information out of the one guy having a prototype version.
To make it short:
- wav, aac, mp3, midi ringtones
- BT 2.0 (support for stereo BT headset!!!)
- WLAN 811b
- UMTS
- GSM triple band
- 80MB free Memory
- Memory stick duo pro up to 8GB!
- faster processing than precessors (p900, p910i)
- pushmail via blackberry, exchange activesync and others
- office software
- qvga touchscreen (320x240)
- 1100mAh battery (up to 400hrs standby)
- all connections can be concurrent this means you can browse the web with opera using wlan while doing phone calls
- java and UIQ programs can run when flip closed
- support for birthdays in calendar (one of the biggest drawbacks in UIQ in previous versions)
- hardware support for 3D Games
and so on!!!!
For me as a former p800/p900 owner and current user of a treo 650 this all adds up to "I NEED THIS PHONE".

I've seen much of handphones and I always change my Hp. I believe this is The sweetest, the most elegant and the best there are in the market. In Indonesia this handphone will launch around march 2006 and I already indent for it.
Bravo for sony ericsson...
