bardock, 16 Aug 2008Hi, I am thinking of getting the p990i. is it worth to buy ... morethe 1st p990s on the shelves had problems with the systems stability and stuff like that,then another version of the firmware was released and is downloadable,then the new p990s coming out now are imrpoved from the 1st ones,so if u buy a p990 now i dont think you will have the same problems we did

myckel, 20 Aug 2008i had my P990i and it works including browsing internet, re... morewhen you connect your p990 to your pc it does connect to the internet but will not work,you must install the pc suit to have that option working

msumulong, 04 Sep 2008It's basically a label difference usually found in pics and... moreinfact firmware does imrpove a handset, i was one of the 1st users of p990 and i tell you it was very frustrating,the sytem crashed almost everyday,it was slow and a lot more bugs, but when i upgraded the firmware most of the bugs were fixed,
just like windows and their service packs

I am using this lovely phone from last 1 year & i must say it is simply rocking, i just love this handset. SE great job, this phone really rocks, compared to E90 this is the better option

I have this phone for over one year. It was great initially, but fater 10 months, three things in this phone has started malfunctioning:-
1. The touch screen does not work properly, i try to touch one point of the screen and some other function occurs. Syncronizing the screen also did not help
2. The key pad on the outside stopped working
3. The auto focus of the camera is not able to focus on the object properly at times, especially during close shots in "macro" mode. In such an event, you have to press the click button again and agin till the focus is achieved. sometimes it can be very frustrating
