cariel, 16 Aug 2011I can't install .Sis file. Is there anyone who can tell me ... morecan't seem to answer calls on my se p990 using qwerty keyboard since upgrade of my software. is ther any solution?

3 ways for you to do it...
one - you can download using your defalut browser using wifi connection no problem anything can be downloaded using wifi.. sis.jar.wav.3gp.mp4.jpeg
two - unlock your phone internally i mean, there is one time my p990 was attached to a pc by my good friend and he cracked the :/z drive which consist of the certificates of the phone and even the phone OS if you want to change it to
there is a list there that you just need to untick few boxes and add a folder under the :/z drive to give your p990 the full capability to download even sis file and in this case you now need a file explorer program on your applications to control the files from :/c drive to :/d drive
last is change your internet application program coz the p990 is using default browser operamini 3.2 which you can use for wifi or 3G internet right .. use a bolt browser application 11.2v it downloads sis file and even run a flash program

i've been using my p990i for almost 6 years.still works like a dream despite the drops and scratches after all these years of abuse. just dont fill the memory too much otherwise it will be sluggish.nice mp3 player, movie and games too.this is a classic ultimate smartphone.

actually the videos dont play smooth after installation of 4 gb mem card. they play ok with 1 gb card. Any tricks-to use the 4gb card with smooth video play.Maxwell please help. another thing. I am using Gdesk and am quite happy. Recently saw some .apb applications. Can we use them on p990?----gemsbond

i gave this to my mom when i purchased a sasung corby but after 7 months i tried to give my mom my corby and get the p990 back, but she wont give it back waaaaaaaa i hate my corby!!!! now i will try to bribe my mom just for her to swap phones with me

Its so impressive, nice model and my loved one .. as i use it the amazin cellphone first in my life..
i want to have a new again . i wish sony should update its some more feature and launch again with same design in the market .

Dropped this fone like 983294294 times and it still works! lol. I removed the other keypad. I find it useless. Camera is great. Surfing is great. and even though this phone is more than 3years old in my careless hands, the touch screen feature is still great. Really great. I love the scroll it has on the side. It helps me scan through messages and mp3 files much quicker. I guess the biggest down factor for this is its bulky size. I don't know(care) about the games but there are numerous themes you can install. My inbox, outbox, sentbox and draftbox totaled to around 3,000 messages before I noticed that my phone has gotten slower.
I love the fact that this phone has qwerty AND touchscreen function. That's probably the only reason why I'm still holding on to it even though its housing has a chips and cracks from dropping it.
Believe me when I say that this phone is one of the most durable out there.

a gr8 phon,good camera, attractive keypad, fast touchscreen, m using it for a long time.
i find the sound volume need an increase,. i have not yet updated maybe maxell will help

i do like my 'sonny ericsson 'because they desiged very stuff full of steel 'we are buy almost 4 years a readdy ,but we are very happy 'this brand of 'sonny ericsson p990 'many my friend there are like 'a samsung of korean brand ,but didnt very last long at alls.but they were very nice a picture and also remarkbles of phone .on myself thinks its a '

dev, 11 Apr 2011better than android...he he he he are you crazy? have u eve... moreha ha ha ha ha Android and symbian 90 !!! what a comparison thats four generation GAP....Android is such a user friendly OS...brilliant is not the word.
