Helo there.. it's me chrone from philippines.. somebody here knows how to determine if rhe phone is at its original state?? i'm planning to buy this phone maybe a week from now.. can you tell me if the phone that i will be buying is the original one?? the warranty of this phone?? how many days to say its really the original.. thank u in advance.. please post ur comments soon..

man... such a waste then...
this fone has everything i need.... wifi/biz card scanner/quick office/mediocre cam... except mobile gaming though...
coz i've seen lots of s60 games r really impressive... unlike normal java games.

Hi fineemina
Uninstall sony pc suite.
Install the widcom software.
Pair ur phone with the pc.
Now reinstall pc suite.
Run m-router run setup for bluetooth.
Pc suite will detect the phone.
Use as usual as u use with usb cable.
Mail me the link for the recorder.

s60 applications wont run on P990i which uses UIQ3. UIQ3 is not even compatible with UIQ2 of the previous P910. The good news is that you can easily download lots UIQ3 apps on the internet if you know where to find it :)

It's very cheap here in the philippines. I bought a brand new p990i here in dumaguete city from the cheapest store I found for only P12,880.00. that's around $270. I'm very satisfied with this phone especialy after I upgraded to the latest firmware :)

mp3 for messages is not limited it will play full track.

go tap on volume set all the volume to zero except the alaram and bam the cell is in silent mode but the alaram will go off you got to fiddle with thw phone to get to know things and there are many just fiddle with it .

u can use mp3 ringtones as long as u have a software that can edit songs..try zedge.net.
the camera performance if AWESOME...try the macro mode and see for ur self. u can actually take ur finger print clearly...

Does P990 also have download limitation of files less than 300kb only when downloading thru GPRS.. as its with the P900 n P910
And guyz is there any way i can download files of size more than 300kb on my P900?

hey guys this cp is cool. mine, the battery last for 3 days. i just turn off the 3g and set the brightness to 14%. nothing wrong w/ this cp. by the way if you press the botton and something goes wrong/hang please guys don't press anything again co'z this might be your problem for hanging the cp. just wait it, this is like a pc that when you click and click (whatever is your prog) it will hang....

I updated the firmware of my p990i. after i updated the firmware. i removed the battery and turned on the phone. But I noticed that the reboot process is slower than my previous firmware.. Is it normal??

My P990i keeps hanging whenever i try to use the camera. it also restart sometimes by itself. will the latest firmware help?
What is the latest firmware. I will be glad if someone can give me step by step instructions as to how to get the latest firmware updated onto my phone
