Phone is good for listening radio, having stereo loud speakers, shape is also good in flip style, but memory is too low with 1.3 mp camera, which should be 20mb minimum .Sony Ericsson should look into matter that mobile having mp camera and mp3 ringtones 5mb memory is not sufficient.

All talking about how bad the "phone" is missing memory or memory slot. But the phone in essential is (was) a device to make a call and to receive calls. :)
Of course, it seems kinda stupid that you can make only 25 pics with this camera, but hey, i think no one is satisfied with 1,3 MP quality pics as well in 2008, so what's the use to make 250 or more bad quality pics? So, the other features are added to the "phone" just from the habit and because you cannot market a phone without a camera and mp3 support. Simple as that. And you know - if Sony would make a phone that suits everybody, then there would be no need to produce other models, right? So, it's all in balance - those who like to listen to the radio and use the phone as a phone and not much like a multimedia hi-end device, will probably consider buying it.

just to let you all know,that I have been playing the am radio for 2 days continuos now and battery is down to 8%.There is no way any other phone can last that long playing mp3 music.Thats why i dont care about memory because there are plenty of stations to listen to and cover most songs i like both AM/FM. Also to give a example of loudness,useing bass boost on speaker phone'my neighbour heard it from 15 metres away.

Hi all,believe it or not.After having most phones on the market at a value of about $3000 i have gone backwoods,(at first thought) and bought the R306 and found it to be excellent for the money,$99 .Great sound,great struture and really,not bad looking.love the Am\Fm radio no more transfering mp3 music, just flick through channels.It makes and receive calls.I am past all the fancy features.Well done sony/ericsson i might actually save money for once.

like wat the hell? wat was SE thinking in this '' mp3'' era to not have a freakin memory card slot!!!!! the typical mp3 is like 5 Mb!!!!! wheres the sense in that?
man i want a w610 instead this is absolute crud.
