to LARIK , yes it plays MP3 better than those NOKIAs , they are more loud but not clear as S700i

i am planing to buy this phone for 120$..so i would like to know....can any one tell me if the mp3 sound is better than nokia 6681or6680...from the speaker of course plz write back on the website thanks

neway,i do own this baby for like 2,3 month until 2day...everything is great except the phone cannot play videos full screen...which is such a waste considering it "large" Screen...mayb se will change tiz with their new firmware....n 1 thing...128mb is never enough....so sad that i cannot buy that 512 or 1Gb memory pro duo....and suppost 2 buy only 128 one...manage only 2 put 60-70 mp3 in it(after i reduce the size lar...)..i really hope that my s700i will become a multimedia phone but mayb my hope will crushed anyway...well,theres always got Psp...huahuahua...

No Man it doresn't have a memory card of more thn 128 mb and this discussion occured 4 months back.......Were u sleeping tht tyme...nd before posting ur post....u should read the previous posts

Some people say thay can put 512mb card in the S700. This is a bit surprising since I have a S700i with last firmware, R3M008, and it does not take memory stick pro's ; only memory sticks (not pro) which are limited to 128mb...

Hello!
Does someone know whether this phone can accept with memmory card of 512 MB, by changing the phone's firmware? I heard that just by up-dating the phone's operating system to the newest one, the phone can handle 512 MB memory card, is that true??

i have a s700 not sure what the max it will take but i have 512mb magic gate card in mine with no problems its a bit funny with some magic gate card not all work not sure if it matters but dark blue cards seem to work fine but not little blue might just be me hope this helps

I want to buy this kind of phone but before to do this I want to see your opinion about it.I'm interested in find out if this phone has a good camera, mp3 palyer and radio anf if it is a reliable phone.

Its just great.The only thing missing is stronger camera and bigger resolution for video recording.Otherwise-absolutely fantastic display,perfect sound and SF-design.

PLEASE TELL ME THE REAL ANSWERS FOR THESE QUESTIONS ABOUT SE S700i.
1) Does it support up to 1GB memory card?
NO it doesn't, 128mb is the limit. No PRO cards only Memory stick duo!!
2) How many MB can i record video for one hour? 1 minute is about 300mb X 60 = 18.000mb for 1 hour.
3) Can it transfer a 6MB of MP3 file?
No problem.
4) Can it last for twelve hours of music before battery goes flat?
Standby with a fresh and full loaded battery is about 300hrs. Listening to music costs a lot of power. I never done/test it, but i think 12 hours is not possible/practicable.

can pls someone who really have S700 tell me what is the real capacity this phone support, is it 128mb max or really can use 1gb max? i read from the manual that S700 do not support memory stick pro duo and or magic gate. only support memory stick duo version and the max memory available is 128mb only on that version. if someone using memory stick pro duo version pls tell me, pls i want to make sure that this phone really support thanks.

I bought S700 today.The screen is too big for you to take wonderful pictures. Picture quality is superb.The menu is little bit slow but with all other functions you wont mind that menu is slow. The cover of the lenses protect the lens getting dirt. The sound is quite high. I will definitly recommend this phone.
