Was thinking about purchasing a Sony Ericsson s700 and had a few questions.
Does the s700 have a flash? and what do you think the comparison to the sharp gx30 would be? Thanks

All sorts of problems with this phone that vodafone already know about. phone will send same picture message over and over again andcharge you for it. phone can and does answer the phone itself when called even when locked, when answering phone will not actuallyconnect call for some seconds. plus other faults

On a call press the menu button and select "Speaker". That was difficult.

Hi
I'm receiving this phone shortly on an upgrade. I know someone who has the phone, but says it has no loudspeaker (when on calls?) This sounds highly unlikely, but no confirmation in the manual or on the specs. Can anyone tell me whether or not it has a loudspeaker facility?

Ready for more praise for the S700i? I recently went to Alton Towers (theme park) and decided that before going on the water flume ride I'd remove my phone from my jeans pocket and pass it to a friend with a plastic shopping bag. Well, after the ride, my jeans were relatively dry, but the shopping bag had a nice level of water at the bottom of it, in which my phone was swimming. I removed my phone from the bag and emptied what seemed to be several litres of water from it. It did not look good. After a few minutes buttons were performing function normall associated to another button. Later the phone wouldn't even turn off, and condensation was gathering on the inside of the screen. When I got home I dismantled the phone and placed it inside the airing cupboard with the big emersion heating tank overnight. Next say the phone turned and resumed functions as normal. So, not only is the S700i practical and funcional, it's also extremely durable.

I really love this phone its got a lot of fun features plus the design and shape is great I can't think of any other phone that can match of with this great talkin buddy you'll need to see it, feel it, want it and grab it to know what exactly I'm talkin' 'bout. It's great Sony Ericsson phones are the Boomb!

I got mine about 6 months ago and its the best gadget i'v ever purchased! the on screen resolution is great with the camera, and i love the remote control option on bluetooth, well done Sony Ericsson

i bought this phone about a month ago, n i really think it's a great phone .only problem i think is that the volume of the music is not very high.also is there neway to view the videos in full screen mode.
another ques: i bought this phone in delhi ,will it work in switzerland.

my opinion abt this mobile is best shot in the market
of mobile zone. attractive look. wow every features what we need. my suggestion in future if u just have a same screen features design mobile but without swvil / my means only will be like single mobile no rotation .....

Mauro....SE S700 Memory capacity, it depends on your FirmWare(FW)Version, most of SE 700s now can support upto 128MB.....but if your upgrade FW, you may be able to get it up to 256Mb...but it is likely that FW for 256mb is not out yet......how to check your FW on the phone? email me for instructions.

thanks for the tips...now i know how to do it...now i am looking for a 128mb memory stick....is this the limit for the s700?

Mauro all u have to do is use the 32mb memory stick and i transfered the music from the memory stick to the phone. Trust me, buy the memory sticks and if it still doesnt work buy the usb data cable and if still doesnt work call sony ericsson. Why doesnt bluetooth work... that is weird.
