hmm....
my SES700i can only record 2 min of video even i put 'unlimited' in video recording....
Why this happen?
i heard that u can record as long u like if there is still got memory left....???

I just got this phone on the O2 network, can anyone tell me how many pre-installed games there are meant to be on it please? (I had one!)
Also how many ring tones? (I had 3!)
Themes (I had one!)
Then I used the camera and to my shock I found pictures of some guy on a train and then a few pics of his house!!! I phoned the place where I bought it from and gave them a right B******ing. They are now sending me a new one, so I would like to know 'what should be' on the phone.

the software cd did not include a video converting software...
i can't convert video i liked into MP4 format...because SES700 supports MP4 and 3GP and MP4 hav a better quality...
Maybe it is included in the CD but i cant find it..
Can anyone tell me more bout this topics...
I transferred the sample video clips from my brother's K700...the quality is nice....and can fully fit the viewing screen there..

Regarding memory sticks only the Memory Stick in the smaller Duo format works. The phone is not compatible with Duo Pro.
so 128MB is the max you can use. NOT 256MB

Number of MP3 songs that can be saved is depends to you MB of either you phone memory or RS-MC. My 128mb stores 17 songs and 20 video clips. The balance of my RS-MC mb is 33mb. The MP3 songs are quite large and to my surprise it still got some room to spare. I believe it can store up to 20 songs base on the things I stored inside my memory stick.

my friend has the motorola e398 and i hav this and his screen is brighter and looks better that mine but his is only a 65k and mine is 256k is my fone stuffed or is that normal pls help me

Tips of the day: 1. Do not swivel the phone to 180 deg when SMS. 90 deg is sufficient. Although it's a bit difficult to read what u write but it's good enough because the swivel joint is very fragile and may cause it to jam half way while swinging it. (2) In regards to RS-MC, try to get the Magic Gate Memory Stick Duo of Sony brand. Not all RS-MC is compatible to S700i. I've bought other brand of RS-MC and it didnt work. Sometimes got problem in saving items/musics. Anyway, is 256mb now in Malaysia market?

I got the S700i SIM free (not locked to any provider, no operator customization, Just a standard phone) and with firmware R3F008 (Standar SE firmware, with European languages)
- in Unlimted mode, video recording IS unlimted to how much free space you have on Memory Stick(i have managed to record about 8 mins before my memory stick was completely full, because I only had a few Mb remaining). But i have heard there is a 1 hour cap. I cant test that, because i dont have a 128Mb memory Stick. Those who have 2min limitations, is your phone a "operator branded" one, or a unbranded SonyEricsson one?
- Picture quality is VERY good. It beats a SamsungD500
- Software wavetable sound for MIDI, which is intresting as T610/T630/T300 used Hardware OKI chip
- Call Reception totally beats P800/T610/T300/Nokia 7210. I can say its probably the best I have had.
I know soem people who have a operator branded S700i are missing some features. For example, on Vodaphone, the right softkey is replaced with a vodaphone Live entry, the phone is restricted from using non-DRM MP3 as a ringtone, and there is a 2min limit for videos. These restrictions do not exist on a unbranded S700i

Hi, you mentioned that your friend uses a 256MB MemoryStick. I recently bougt a S700i and want to increase the memory. Did your friend just stick in a Memory Stick Pro Duo with 256MB and it worked fine or are there some setting to be done on the S700i to have the MS Pro Duo work? Do you maybe know if Memory Sticks with larger capacities can also be used with the S700i like 512MB or 1G.
I don't want to buy a MS Pro Duo to find out afterwards that it doesn't work.
